Hello friends! We thought it would be fun to do a weekly wrap-up of events and activities that have occured in KittycatS over the past month. So every month we’ll be posting a new edition of our monthly “Mewsletter” to recap what’s been going on with KittyCatS over the current month! :)

NEW RELEASES

July was a great month for releasing new products! We kicked the month off with the release of our KittyCatS Optics line and quickly followed that up with the release of some new summer T-shirts for your KittyCatS to have more ways to strut their style!

July also sawthe release of our first Patriotic KittyCatS decor statue, celebrating the Fourth of July.

We followed up by releasing the French, Belgium and Swiss Patriotic KittyCat decor statues.

Finally we wrapped up the month of July with a special treat for KittyCatS customers. To hep celebrate teamwork and the spirit of sportsmanship, your KittyCatS had a chance to birth a special collectible “Team KittyCat” from July 29 through August 1st. These special KittyCatS came in 3 different styles and were limited to one per avatar. Which team were you on? :)

UPDATE

July also saw the release of Update 1.23, which quickly turned into Update 1.24 to correct certain issues that popped up courtesy of SL wonkiness. This latest update had us really excited since it introduced two new Display modes for live cats – Image mode and 2D mode – and more importantly, allowed us to introduce “Peek a Box”, a new state for boxes that allows the gender to be displayed on the box, while still showing the wonderful aesthetics of your KittyCatS! Needless to say this was a feature that us all pretty jazzed, and it’s been great to see how the KittyCatS community has incorporated the new box displays into their market set-ups. :)

We followed up our Update with an update to our Online Cattery. Not only can you see your genders directly on your newborn kitten boxes, but you can also see them in your Cattery once you enable the feature under your account settings! :)

SPECIAL EVENTS

July was also a month for KittyCatS and special events! We continued our participation with Second Life Relay For Life with an RFL Kick-Off Party on July 12 at the KittyCatS main sim.

From 9:00am to 9:00pm SLT, the KittyCatS main sim was open for dancing, prizes, music, and lots of fun! We were thrilled to see so many of our KittyCatS friends there having a great time and helping to celebrate Relay For Life!

Relay for Life wasn’t the only charitable event that KittyCatS participated in during the month of July. KittyCatS was also proud to take part in this year’s Hair Fair by supporting “Wigs For Kids”. We created 5 bandannas that were sold with all proceeds going to support this great charity that provides free wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer or any other disease.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

Each month the KittyCatS main sim is host to both a fishing contest and a KittyCatS trivia contest. This months winners were:

NEW DISCOVERY

Congratulations were in order for Malicia Python, for acquiring enough jewels for a FanciCat and discovering the Fancie Ocicat – Lavender Dream. Congratulations Malicia! :)

NEW STAFF

We welcomed three new CSR’s to the KittyCatS Support Team in July. TomCat Southpaw joined us as a new Spanish CSR. We also welcomed Chateau Spot and Kawaii Cat as our new Japanese CSR’s. Welcome to the team! :)

We have been working tirelessly on this update and are so so so excited for you to have it! We hope you will be excited too!!!

It has some very very cool new features that have been part of our plans for a LONG time :) *hmmm wonder what that could be?*

With each update we aim to improve your experience with your KittyCatS! while tending to any little bugs or fleas we may have encountered along the way!

So without any further introduction, let’s look at what is in this update!

HIGHLIGHTS

* KittyCatS! proudly presents – “What’s my name?”

You all may or may not know but… many kitties out there are having an identity crisis having the same name, “Kitten”. Now, while we LOVE that name, (as it’s the name of our lead CSR, Kitten Longmeadow) we know some KityCatS feel a bit unsure of who they are!

Now your newborn “kittens” will be born with a random name which you can either keep OR change! :) This will be helpful when looking for lost cats for you and us. Whether you keep the name it’s born with or not, one thing is for sure, there won’t be any cats having an identity crisis anymore! :) We will add to the name database, even take YOUR suggestions, but for now it’s pretty full, so we hope you enjoy this feature that will keep your cats from feeling upset when they wonder “why do so many cats have the same name as I do?”

This is really a fun new feature and we hope you enjoy it!

* KittyCatS! proudly presents – “Peek-A-Box” (we’re really excited about this!)

We are thrilled to provide this new feature for you which allows you to “peek” inside your box to see what your new kitten looks like!!! Boxes can be switched to 2 prim images of your cats AND back…. (they even blink!)

But WAIT, thats not all. The image does not only allow you to see a picture of your cat, but also its gender! *waits for everyone to get up off the ground* YES!!! Those who want to know, simply click “image” on your box and watch the magic happen! Those who do NOT wish to know, don’t worry, you can keep it a surprise too, just birth your box as you normally would!

In the coming days, both the pedigree and Cattery box storage system will be updated as well to show the gender for boxes there… so cats born in the cattery will automatically have gender displayed.

This feature allows for more flexibility in your KittyCatS! experience whether you are a casual breeder or one who sells their cats. Another thing we love about this new feature is, even if you keep your cats unbirthed for selling or breeding projects, you, your friends, and even customers can now “see” them!!! We imagine there will be some awesome displays with KittyCatS in this new “image” mode in catteries and markets alike! This feature can also be helpful when working on breeding programs to store your “boxes” for future use.

Additionally, KittyCatS HUD owners can switch all their boxes to images at one time and back again! As an added bonus the HUD now also allows to set the text options for all your boxes with one click! (updated HUDs are delivered free of charge during the update process)

So in summary: Boxes will continue to keep the gender a secret… Box Images in SHOW it!!!
We can’t wait to see how you all use this new feature, with the creativity our community has, we know we’re in for some fun surprises!

We’ve been so excited about this for long and are thrilled it’s now available!

* KittyCatS! proudly presents – “Display Mode”

This feature goes a little further with the low prim mode we already have. It gives you the option to display your cats 2 ways. One as a 2D Cat, one as an “image”, comparable to the new box images. Each way uses ONLY 2 prims. This can come in handy for your special projects, market & cattery set ups, or anything you wish. You find the option for this mode in the low prim section of the “Prims” submenu!

Note: Any clothes or accessories your cats are wearing will be automatically hidden in these new 2 prim modes.

* KittyCatS! proudly presents – “Will you marry me???”

We added the winning sentences to the cats from our “what should your cat’s say when you partner them” contest. They are now in this update!!! We hope you enjoy this new feature!
We think it’s funny and we hope the cats will too! LOL.

ADDITIONS
* Roll over animation!!! – too cute for words, you just gotta see it. :)
* Perma Pet name changes are now registered in the database.
* Boxes which you name and send to the cattery will now come back with that same name when brought to SL!

CHANGES
* Ball & Feather will not accumulate in inventory when detached. (this only works on sims on the RC channel. When the function is rolled out to the entire grid, it will work for all.)
* Changes made that overcome new LL limits to reduce inventory transfers between different prim modes.
* Some love gaining improvements made to help with sim rollbacks where possible.

FIXES
* Clothes & accessory switching more reliable with hud.
* Petting movements in cats work properly.
* Work around for SL problem which caused white kittens to be born from boxes.

HOW TO UPDATE

Quick Tutorial Video

In the coming 24 hours your cats will start to show an “UPDATE ME” tag.
As soon as they do, the UPDATE button will be available in your cats menu to obtain an updater.
As of that point, you have 2 weeks to update your cats.
Make sure you have at least 30 prims available when you run the updater.

EASY AS 1,2,3 updating steps:

1. Click the “UPDATE” button in the menu of your cat and it will give you an updater.
2. Rez the Updater
3. Click the “can of Update” and watch it as it updates all your cats and boxes! The updater will give KittyCatS HUD owners a new HUD as well.

No need to move cats, re rez them, group them, travel to sandboxes, pull your hair, or anything! It’s REALLY that easy. :) yay!
All settings for your cat will be kept, including the group. Only if you had a cat or box for sale, you will have to put them for sale again…

Presenting KittyCatS! Pedigree V2
A picture is worth a thousand words.

A picture is more than a thousand words… and we are happy to add PICTURES to your pedigree page!!! The CaTTery cats were so happy to be “seen” and the pedigree cats were like “hey what about us over here???” So of course, like everything we do, we listened to the little cats and now you can see them THERE too!!! Yes, they are so spoiled! I bet next they will want Lobster Kibble. :)

So now… you can not only read the traits of your cat, but also see them :)

We made the layout simple to combine compactness & readability. Additionally we made the following adjustments to the pedigree overview:

FAST FACTS:
* Names which are truncated can now be seen to the full in a hover tip when you move your mouse over it.
* Cats & Boxes can carry a “CaTTery” tag, meaning they are in the KittyCatS! CaTTery
* You can now see both the offspring you bred and the offspring you own.
* The menagerie tag (and by extension CaTTery tag) is no longer shown if you are not the owner of the cats, because of “sentimental” reasons.

We hope you enjoy this new addition because the cats promised us you would!!!

KittyCatS! Update V1.19

Hello to our AMAZING KittyCatS! community!

Boy have we been excited for this update!!! We HOPE you will enjoy it and that it makes your experience with KittyCatS! more fun, rewarding and enjoyable!

We have some VERY exciting additions… one in particular that is a FIRST for any “breedable”… of course, we still like to call KittyCatS! “fully interactive pets that CAN breed”. Well, the interaction just got more interesting!

Imagine being on your iPad or computer, wanting to see if your favorite pair has bred and what they had and you can’t log into SL… or imagine those little breeding projects you love to work on but so wish you had more prims for your couch, bed, house? Well… imagine NO more…

The cat is now being let out of the bag and we’re happy to announce to you FIRST our new “KittyCatS! Cattery” Online breeding! Yes… you heard it right. Online breeding. Zero Prims needed!

We’ll say a lot more below, but for now, thank you so much for being such a great community to serve and for your unending contributions and enthusiasm. We hope hope hope you enjoy this update!

This new feature is perfect for those with limited prims or those who like to play on their computers (at work *ahem* on a break of course) and those who want to enjoy working on special projects online. The online breeding is fun & easy and will give you more freedom in your breeding programs. Just a click away!

Here are some fast facts:
* Cats can be sent via their menu with the click of one button to the online cattery.
* Cats can be brought back with a few clicks on their special “dock” & website.
* Handy “dock” for landing, buying Kitty Dollars, and visiting your online cattery.
* Easy viewing of “girls”, “boys”, “pairs” & “boxes”
* Easy pairing online.
* Buy food &; vitamins with a click of the button for your online cats with Kitty Dollars. (extra kitty dollars can be obtained via the dock).
* Use your earned Kitty Dollars for all online purchases OR buy Kitty Dollars to use online. (Purchased Kitty Dollars are used first)
* Boxes born in the Cattery can be “opened” in SL only at this time. However they can be kept and stored in the KittyCatS! CaTTery.

KittyCatS! proudly presents. . .Online Box Sorting & Updating:

The KittyCatS Cattery is MORE than just an online breeding system. It includes full functionality to be an Online Inventory system with easy sorting for all your boxes! This means you can not only send your cats, but also your Boxes to the Cattery, where they will appear in the “Boxes” tab. And, just like your cats, you can get your boxes back anytime to SL through the Cattery dock! Sorting for boxes works similar to your pedigree sorting. Additionally it shows the date the box was “born”. Your Boxes born in the cattery will appear in that list as well :))

You can get your KittyCatS! CaTTery Dock in the lobby of our Mainshop: KittyCatS! Main Shop

Note: Very old boxes there may show an “unknown” born date, as we started to log this info in the second half of 2011.

KittyCatS! proudly announces. . .LOWER BIRTH TIME!!!

You asked for it! The new birthing time for new babies is now 15 minutes. Many of you have requested a shorter time and after hearing all your input and asking the Kitties, they agreed they’d like to meet you FASTER! :) so birthing time will now be 15 minutes for all “bred” boxes. The starter pack boxes will remain at 5 minutes. Happy Birthing!

KittyCatS! proudly announces. . .BEAR HUG!!! a new way to hold your KittyCat! Give them a big bear hug!

We added a fun and very cute new way to hold your KittyCat, a BEAR Hug! They LOVE to be held like this and look so so cute too! Accessible from the “interact” menu, just like the “cuddle” feature. They will jump into your arms and just look at the world around them, while you hug and hold them. Enjoy!

For the Smaller cats and toys & teacups the equivalent of the bear hug is the new “attach right!”.

Important note: Cats will only gain happiness now if attached to one of the spots listed in their menu. This means Right or Left shoulder for small cats, and Hold or Cuddle for big cats.

* ADDITIONS *

* Jewels now broadcast their “info” once when rezzed on channel -75547824 (the info is similar to being clicked).
* New naming phrases from the contest winners now live!

* CHANGES *

* For Cats: With the new “Cattery” button, the menu layout got a refresh… You will find the “Interact” button now in the main menu for more easy access. Additionally you will find a “prims” button, which groups both low prim settings & hide clothing options.
* For Boxes: Moved “Set Name” to the Text menu after the addition of the Cattery button in the main menu. For KittyCatS HUD owners the new HUD menu will reflect this change as well.
* Renamed Outfit/Jacket to “Vest”.
* For HUD owners: The internal way cats deal with partnering was slightly changed. Therefore you need to update all your cats first to make sure “Sorting by Partner” works with your new HUD.

* FIXES *

* Energy stats will now always “survive” a sim rolback (The effect of energy potions or waking up in that time period could still be lost though).
* Collars & Vest will now also apply when the hat is hidden.
* Updater will now also properly update the energy stats in the first 5 minutes after a cat turns 7 days old.

Hello to our AMAZING KittyCatS Owners Old and NEW!!!!

This update mainly fixes the hat bug we have (KittyCatS cannot be dropped when wearing a hat and a collar).

Once again, as always, we want to thank you for being a part of our community. Your contributions help make up our awesome community and really add to the KittyCatS! experience.

* NEW OPTION! Make your KittyCatS collars & hats invisible or visible with just one click!!

* Iluminating Smiley Faces :))
– Cats which are under influence from Milk or beeing cuddled (and therefore are at the faster love gaining speed) will show the regular full smiley face: ?
– Cats which are no longer (or not yet) under influence from Milk or beeing cuddled will now show an empty smiley face ?

* Iluminating Circles :))
– When setting the range for your cat in meters, the range will be visualized for a short time by a red cirle.
Ideal for a quick view on distance towards other cats and parcel borders!
NOTE: the range is visualized apporximate and form the home point, not form the cats actual position!

* POWER OPTION: use the “#” symbol to partner a cat to the most close one, rather then typing the full name.
NOTE: this only works well when the most near cat is a the opposite sex, else it will fail. Thats why it is a “POWER” Option 😉

* new VITAMIN: instant PET FOOD RECOVERY! Available in the KittyCatS Store next week!

* Name changes will now update more quickly in the pedigree!

for KittyCatS! HUD Owners:
* Option to hide or show collars & hats for all your cats at once…

for KittyCatS! Automatic Cat Feeder Owners:
* Added an option to set a minimum count as of which (near) empty server warnings will be given.
NOTE: Only the server got updated for this. There is no need to replace the mats, they are fully compatible!

FIXES

Boxes:
* Box name will now update immediate in the Hoover text when changed.

Cats:
* Cats which were in inventory for a long time will now show their happiness immediate correctly.
* Avatar Cuddle animation will now also stop in firestorm.
* Neck should now always show correct when sleeping.
* Cats wearing hats should show the “drop” option now and no longer get lost!

Hello to our AMAZING KittyCatS Owners Old and NEW!!!!

This update contains a feature we’ve wanted since DAY ONE!!! We’re so excited to see it become a REALITY :-)

Now more than ever before you will be able to customize your KittyCatS! to fit your style and tastes… and it’s just the start! Kitty Couture has arrived!
(well part one…., hee hee) <— what could that mean?!

Once again, as always, we want to thank you for being a part of our community. Your contributions help make up our awesome community and really add to the KittyCatS! experience.

So… here are the highlights, additions, changes and fixes included in this update.
Anything marked with a " * " has been present in version 1.11 , which was released for the Halloween & Collabor88 Cats, but not for regular KittyCatS.

HIGHLIGHTS

Introducing: KittyCatS! Couture – KittyHats! (wearable hats)

“The Hat on the Cat!”

(available now in our showroom)

Yes!!! You read right, we are so excited to present our very first Hat Collection that YOUR KittyCatS can wear! Each of these Hats come with a matching collar as an introductory “gift with purchase” special. The collar can be used to match OR, of course you can use the hats with any collars to create your own look that suits your style. We hope you love this feature as much as we do.

The hat adds one prim to your cats… but with such cuteness, we think it’s worth it :)

Note: Hats on Cats do work with the “Less is More” prim saving mode, but add a prim there too.

Introducing: Lazy Cat Animations

We’ve added some fun new ‘Lazy” animations where your cat lays around and does cat things like stretching, licking it’s leg, and other stuff… the animations are random, and are really cute, so now when your cats have the Sit&Lay option enabled they will also lay more and do cute things. :)

Introducing: Streeeeeeeeetchhhhhh! – Standing Cat Stretch

We added a new cute stretch for when your cat is in the walking mode… you’ll just have to watch to see :)

OTHER ADDITIONS

– The pose menu now contains a total of 9 poses! We added a cute ball holding pose, a new lay pose as well as a funny stand pose for more decorating fun!
(NOTE: it can take up to half a minute for the ball to disappear when the cat is moved or the pose turned off. Also, particles must be turned on to see the ball.)
– Once a box starts to Unpack, the “Unpack” button is replaced with a “Stop Unpack” button to allow you to reverse any accidental clicks or mind changes :-)
– To avoid confusion for less experienced Box menu users with this addition, the Menu will not re-appear on its own after clicking “Unpack”.

for KittyCatS HUD Owners:
– New sorting feature: Sort by partnered cats! Couples are shown side by side, in alternating color.
(NOTE: this feature will only work optimal if both cats of the couple are present, and this for all couples)
– When sorting on love, cats which have their love turned off (? Off) will be grouped in front of the list.
– When sorting on love, cats which are at 100% love and have all stats ready to breed (?? 100%) are grouped together at the back of the list.

CHANGES

– Cats older then 120 days will now have a higher happiness! :) (it’s not so bad getting old)
– A “Loading, do NOT take me in inventory right now!” warning will appear on cats which fail to contact our database when born/updated/switched prim mode or when a collar or hat is applied. *
– Cats in low prim mode will randomly show their tongues. *
– Cats in pose mode will randomly show their tongues.

FIXES

Boxes:
– The updater will now update all cats & boxes when over 700 boxes are present.

Cats:
– The legs & body of your cats will now always look right and not transform into “donuts”. *
– The heads & tail will always properly attach to the body. *
– Cats which are switched to low prim mode or back will not develop an occasional wrong “Copy-Delete me” warning. *
– Attached cats can not be switched to low prim mode anymore. *
– Perma-Pets™ will have their hover text at the correct place when switched to low prim mode. *
– The Magic Broom (KittyCatS Fly option, not included in all cats) will now always properly work with 3rd party flight assists when not using the internal flight assist.
– Fix for a possible script “math” error in Walk&Run Script.
– The “|” symbol will no longer be accepted as a valid character for box & cat names, as this can cause a problem for your KittyCatS HUDs.
Existing names containing the character will not be changed, but we strongly advise to rename such cats.

HOW TO UPDATE

In the coming 24 hours your cats will start to show an “UPDATE ME” tag.
As soon as they do, the UPDATE button will be available in your cats menu to obtain an updater.
As of that point, you have 2 weeks to update your cats.
Make sure you have at least 30 prims available when you run the updater.

EASY AS 1,2,3 updating steps:

1. Click the “UPDATE” button in the menu of your cat and it will give you an updater.
2. Rez the Updater
3. Click the “can of Update” and watch it as it updates all your cats and boxes! The updater will give KittyCatS HUD owners a new HUD as well.

No need to move cats, re rez them, group them, travel to sandboxes, pull your hair, or anything! It’s REALLY that easy. :) yay!
All settings for your cat will be kept, including the group. Only if you had a cat or box for sale, you will have to put them for sale again…

Hello to our AMAZING KittyCatS Owners!

WE ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT THIS UPDATE !!! We have worked really hard to bring you 2 very cool new features and we hope you are as excited about them as we are! :) DID WE TELL YOU WE’RE EXCITED???????

And… once again, we want to thank you for being a part of our community. Each of you contribute in some way that makes our awesome community what it is and we truly appreciate what you bring to the KittyCatS! experience.

Ok so let’s get RIGHT TO IT and let you know what’s coming inside your little can-o-update! :)

NOTE: If this is your first time doing an update with KittyCatS! the process is very simple. Yes, you heard right, VERY simple. (At the bottom of this note are the simple steps on how to update)

HIGHLIGHTS

Introducing: LESS IS MORE – a prim-saving feature.

KittyCatS! proudly introduces our “Less Is More” feature. What is less is more? Simply put, it turns your cat into an 8 prim cat when in use (Yes, 5 or 6 prims saved on each cat!). For our introduction we offer 3 different options, for your cats to “rest” in.

In this update, a natural woven basket, a wooden water bucket they love to bathe in, and a decorative container. These 3 are a sampling of more to come in future updates. We hope you enjoy this feature! Now you can perhaps rez some of your furniture, houses, trees and all the other things you’ve had to get rid of as your cats pushed you out of house and home! :) Perhaps even get your partner back!!! And for those of you who wanted even MORE room for cats… you will LOVE this!

For KittyCatS HUD owners the low prim setting can be set trough the HUD as well all at once, including a handy “randomize” button which assigns a random low prim pose to each of your cats :)

Introducing: PET N’ PLAY – “any time, anywhere, any cat”

Ever wish you could just pet your Kitty and relax under a tree? Wish you could pamper them with lots of love? Spoil them like they demand? :) Well NOW you can! The Pet N’ Play feature allows to you Pet & Play with ANY KittyCatS you want! Simply right click, hit “pet” and go!** We have dreamt of this feature since before we launched and we are SO happy to finally be able to bring it to you! Our hope is that it will add a whole new dimension to your experience with KittyCatS! We have loved making it. It has been one of our greatest challenges so far on many levels and we really hope you love it.

**On Third-Party viewers, if “Pet” is not visible use “Sit” instead!

Our scripter did a really amazing job with this so make sure to let him know when ya see him! :)

A very special thank goes to Adorkable Peapod of Adorkable Poses who worked closely with the team on the animation designs and poses. She contributed so much heart and time into her work and we really appreciate all the work she did and many changes, adjustments, and changes….. adjustments… and… :) She is awesome!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the infinite number of avatar size possibilities and cat sizes it is impossible to “fit” the avatar to the cat perfectly with the limitations we have in SL. For best results you may need to adjust your shape depending on how much you want to “perfect” the placement. (the best way for this is to make a COPY of your shape, name it “KittyCatS petting shape” and adjust things like height, arm length etc. THIS IS NOT NECESSARY, but a suggestion for those who may want to get the adjustment factor closer if it’s off for them.)

ADDITIONS

New Love Indicators: When your cat is ready to breed it will now show you 2 HEARTS :) Also when your cat has some vitamins left in it, the Love symbol will show as a clear heart, meaning you can’t give it more vitamins.
Ofcourse, the cat still needs a partner KittyCat in range to be able to breed :)
Here is an example of how it will now look.

  • Cats will now look around a bit when just standing :)
  • For KittyCatS HUD owners: Set Home For All your cats at once!
  • Perma-Pets can now be configured to only show the name, the gender or both. This setting will be reminded after an update and, for KittyCatS HUD owners, can be set through the hud as well!
  • You can now turn the text of boxes on or off at once with 2 handy buttons :) YAY!!!!

CHANGES

  • The Menagerie & breeding off confirmation dialogs now show “No” as their left button as some who are uncertain about the result, assumed to use the first button as the safer option, even though it wasn’t.
  • The default sales value of cats, boxes and jewels is now preset to 1000 lindens, to avoid any accidental “10 linden sales”.
  • The cats size calculation as shown in the info is now more accurate, which could mean it will report 1cm more or less. Main reason for this change are the low prim cats, which “didn’t work” with the old system.
  • Hover text color of Perma-Pets & Boxes now matches those of cats.

FIXES

Boxes:

  • Objects owned by the owner of the box will no longer be “able” to name a box if they “say” something while the owner is naming it.

Cats:

  • Giving energy vitamins while a cat is sleeping, which would increase the energy to over 100%, will now set the energy to 100% and wake up the cat, rather then a very low energy value and continue to sleep.
  • Possible fix for Perma-Pets ending up with a disproportional head for a short time (Yes, we need your help here, keep reporting the problem if it still occurs!).
  • Cats will now better detect very irregular parcel borders and walk around more freely when set to parcel range.
  • Possible fix for a few cases where the dad didn’t break up its partnership after mating.

HUD

  • The HUD will now always load cats after a bad crash or bad teleport.
  • clicking on an empty space for huds with 4 or less cats displayed will no longer give a script error message.

Jewels

  • Jewels will now update their ownership faster on our website. (only for new jewels)

Hi KittyCatS Addicts!

After the changes to the food & milk that we recently made, we also made some usability improvements to the vitamins. :)

FAST FACTS:

* Every Bottle now has an “Other Cat… ” Button in its menu, which allows you to say the name of a cat you own to apply it to.
This should be an easy alternative to the previous method of having to place the cat and bottle right next to each other. Perfect for owners of KittyCatS! in close quarters!

* Single Item Bottles are no longer packaged: what you get from the vendor can be rezzed and used immediately!
This saves you some time, and eliminates the need for both rezzing and unpacking the packages – fewer chances for SL to eat your product! :)
The product notecards are given to you automatically in a folder when you rezz the single item.
6-packs of vitamins are still packaged.

* Safeguard: Love Vitamins can be no longer applied to KittyCatS already at 100% love.

Hi all :)

We’ve heard your suggestions and made some changes to the KittyCatS! Food & Milk =)

FAST FACTS:

* Sim wide and normal food are now in one bowl which can be easily configured to be sim-wide, parcel-wide or range based.

* You now can buy just 1 sim wide food or milk bowl at a time if you like :)

* With the sim wide and parcel settings now available, you now have more freedom in the ranges you set your cats to roam and won’t need to worry about them not eating.

* Single Item bowls no longer come in a package carton, you will now just get the bowl instantly from the vendor into your inventory. This will help in “lost food” issues. (since there are less unpacking stages that way)

* For packs 5 and up, we have made the “packages” smaller so you can use them for your decorating or to put in your SL kitchens or whatever you want :)

SPECIAL NOTE FOR KittyCatS! Auto Feeder Owners:
Since the current Auto Feeders don’t support this new food completely, you will be automatically given a Auto Feeder System as soon as you buy the new food or milk. Please leave the old food in the old server till it runs out. You can setup the new Auto feeder server and mats alongside the old one.

• IMPORTANT: The Scratch-n-Climb Pole needs to be in range of the cats home, and the cat needs to be allowed to walk to use it.
They will scratch or climb the pole when they feel like it, between their usual daily activities :)
