This collection is especially personal to me.
The artwork began as part of a meditative practice during a time when I was slowing down and seeing life from a different perspective.
I would draw without a plan, with one rule:
NOTHING could be a mistake. No erasing! I must make every “mistake” into part of the doodle or drawing I was doing.
Whatever happened on the page HAD TO become part of the art.
Over time, I realized how much that mirrored life itself.
We never really know what is coming, and sometimes what first looks like a mistake becomes something entirely different when we change our perspective about “mistakes.”
It can become an opportunity to create something NEW.
I found it very freeing after I accepted I could not “fix” anything!
The art and words on these cats are things that have carried me through a season of profound change, grief, and loss.
My hope is that something in them finds you at the right moment and offers a little support or humor or a new way of seeing something in your own life!
After 15 years of creating art for these cats, I still have pages of ideas.
And, Never in my wildest dreams did I think little doodles from a personal journal would end up on the kitties, but right now, it feels like exactly where they are meant to be.
More than ever, I’m excited to see what emerges when I create from my heart.

P.S. as I drew the little drawings took on the name “glimmer doodles” as to me they were little glimmers of hope and life in seasons where sometimes it was hard to see all the good always around us.
ALSO…. each cat’s “message” or “thought” can be turned on or off in the clothing menu! So you can mix and match

– Do they pass on their coats/eyes/tails/ears? -the DreaM DooDLeS! & GLimmeR DooDLeS! are a specially designed collectible cat with random Genesis KittyCat traits which have the potential to pass their hidden traits like any other Genesis KittyCat. They can carry the genes of the new traits and furs that can only be discovered through breeding.
– Can they breed something special? – yes! If you breed 2 DreaM DooDLeS! or GLimmeR DooDLeS! together they will give you a special baby you will NOT want to miss!
