Fancie Gem Collector Boxes

Hello all 
We’re very happy to provide you a set of beautiful collector boxes to put your Fancie Jewels in. We hope you enjoy these and that they help keep your jewels all safe and sound while you collect them for your Fancie Cat.
Each box is hand carved in sterling silver and decorated with a diamond, emerald or ruby and will store your gems for you as you collect them.

Below is how the collection boxes work
1. To add nearby jewels, place the jewels within 20 meter range, click the box and press “Add”.
2. To remove a jewel, click the box and press “Take Out”.
3. When the box is full of the amount of jewels needed the “add” button will be replaced with a “convert” button.
4. Pressing the “convert” button will make your full box dissapear and you will be given a Fancie Cat Box! (inventory offer).

WE ARE SOOOOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED ABOUT THIS UPDATE !!! We have worked really hard to bring you 2 very cool new features and we hope you are as excited about them as we are! DID WE TELL YOU WE’RE EXCITED???????
And… once again, we want to thank you for being a part of our community. Each of you contribute in some way that makes our awesome community what it is and we truly appreciate what you bring to the KittyCatS! experience.
Ok so let’s get RIGHT TO IT and let you know what’s coming inside your little can-o-update!
NOTE: If this is your first time doing an update with KittyCatS! the process is very simple. Yes, you heard right, VERY simple. (At the bottom of this note are the simple steps on how to update)
HIGHLIGHTS
Introducing: LESS IS MORE – a prim-saving feature.
KittyCatS! proudly introduces our “Less Is More” feature. What is less is more? Simply put, it turns your cat into an 8 prim cat when in use (Yes, 5 or 6 prims saved on each cat!). For our introduction we offer 3 different options, for your cats to “rest” in.
In this update, a natural woven basket, a wooden water bucket they love to bathe in, and a decorative container. These 3 are a sampling of more to come in future updates. We hope you enjoy this feature! Now you can perhaps rez some of your furniture, houses, trees and all the other things you’ve had to get rid of as your cats pushed you out of house and home! Perhaps even get your partner back!!! And for those of you who wanted even MORE room for cats… you will LOVE this!
For KittyCatS HUD owners the low prim setting can be set trough the HUD as well all at once, including a handy “randomize” button which assigns a random low prim pose to each of your cats
Introducing: PET N’ PLAY – “any time, anywhere, any cat”
Ever wish you could just pet your Kitty and relax under a tree? Wish you could pamper them with lots of love? Spoil them like they demand? Well NOW you can! The Pet N’ Play feature allows to you Pet & Play with ANY KittyCatS you want! Simply right click, hit “pet” and go!** We have dreamt of this feature since before we launched and we are SO happy to finally be able to bring it to you! Our hope is that it will add a whole new dimension to your experience with KittyCatS! We have loved making it. It has been one of our greatest challenges so far on many levels and we really hope you love it.
**On Third-Party viewers, if “Pet” is not visible use “Sit” instead!
Our scripter did a really amazing job with this so make sure to let him know when ya see him!
A very special thank goes to Adorkable Peapod of Adorkable Poses who worked closely with the team on the animation designs and poses. She contributed so much heart and time into her work and we really appreciate all the work she did and many changes, adjustments, and changes….. adjustments… and… She is awesome!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the infinite number of avatar size possibilities and cat sizes it is impossible to “fit” the avatar to the cat perfectly with the limitations we have in SL. For best results you may need to adjust your shape depending on how much you want to “perfect” the placement. (the best way for this is to make a COPY of your shape, name it “KittyCatS petting shape” and adjust things like height, arm length etc. THIS IS NOT NECESSARY, but a suggestion for those who may want to get the adjustment factor closer if it’s off for them.)
ADDITIONS
New Love Indicators: When your cat is ready to breed it will now show you 2 HEARTS Also when your cat has some vitamins left in it, the Love symbol will show as a clear heart, meaning you can’t give it more vitamins.
Ofcourse, the cat still needs a partner KittyCat in range to be able to breed

HOW TO UPDATE
~`*~`*~`*~`*~
In the coming 24 hours your cats will start to show an “UPDATE ME” tag.
As soon as they do, the UPDATE button will be available in your cats menu to obtain an updater.
As of that point, you have 2 weeks to update your cats.
Make sure you have at least 30 prims available when you run the updater.
EASY AS 1,2,3 updating steps:
1. Click the “UPDATE” button in the menu of your cat and it will give you an updater.
2. Rez the Updater
3. Click the “can of Update” and watch it as it updates all your cats and boxes! The updater will give KittyCatS HUD owners a new HUD as well.
No need to move cats, re rez them, group them, travel to sandboxes, pull your hair, or anything! It’s REALLY that easy. yay!
All settings for your cat will be kept, including the group. Only if you had a cat or box for sale, you will have to put them for sale again…

KittyCatS introduces the “KittyCatS Of The Month” challenge!
Every month a special KittyCatS! will be selected to breed for. The rules are simple and it’s easy to participate! To be considered a match, your cat/kitten box must meet the specified traits. Cats that match all 9 traits, and only cats that match all 9 traits, are considered matches for the “KittyCatS! of the Month”. Anyone who breeds the “KittyCat Of The Month” during the month specified will be rewarded with a KittyCatS Jewel.
The first person who breeds one will get a KittyCatS Diamond, the second will get a KittyCatS Ruby and everyone else who breeds one will get a KittyCatS Emerald.
You can track the current KittyCatS of the month announcements and results on our website at KittyCatS of the Month.

1. If I breed more than one of the special cats, can I get more than one jewel? YES
2. Can I buy the “KittyCatS Of The Month” cat? NO. It must be self-bred. However you can go buy cats to help breed for it!

We are so excited to be hosting a KittyCatS! comic contest! We love the creativity our community has shown and think this will be a fun way to see it in a different way! Also… the cats have been bugging us for a LONG time to do this!
COMPLETE RULES:
ENTRY:
1. format must be 512×512
2. comics must contain at least 2 panels or “story boards”.
3. each comic must have a KittyCatS! cat in it.
4. entries must be PG rated.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS:
• September 6th at 11:59 PM SL time.
• Submit by sending your pictures to Equinox Pinion full perm
send them in a folder named: Comic Contest and name them individually ” (your name) and (texture number)

JUDGING AND WINNERS:
• winners will be chosen by a combination of a community vote and a KittyCatS! judging panel.

• IMPORTANT: The Scratch-n-Climb Pole needs to be in range of the cats home, and the cat needs to be allowed to walk to use it.
They will scratch or climb the pole when they feel like it, between their usual daily activities

Since all of the current Jewels have been discovered, it’s time to reveal some more details about them!
There are 3 types of KittyCatS Jewels:
– Diamonds
– Rubies
– Emeralds
These KittyCatS Jewels are “gifted” to you by your KittyCatS randomly during the birth process. If you are given a Jewel, it will be rezzed above a newborn kitten box. The KittyCatS Jewels act as a type of currency for our special FancyCatS! You need to collect 10 Diamonds, 20 Rubies or 30 Emeralds to be able to get a FancyCat in exchange. More details about what these FancyCatS will look like to come later!
When you have enough Jewels of one type, you will be able to pick up an Jewel Exchange Box in the mainshop. All you will have to do is rez the Jewels besides it and the Jewel box will collect the needed amount and transform in a KittyCatS FancyCat!

Hello KittyCatS! Owners!
Happy Summer again! Another update??? Oh why oh why??? Well… because we had a few little things we wanted to share with you! Some surprises some you will find out now and some later… also we got rid of a few little fleas :).

Alrighty then… here are the highlights, additions, changes and fixes included in this update.
* HIGHLIGHTS *
* Introducing: Fancy CatS! & KittyCatS! Jewels
KittyCatS! proudly introduces KittyCatS! Jewels & Fancy CatS!. At very random times, your cats will gift you with a rare gemstone… (you will have to wait and see what they are) when you get them you can collect them and when you get the amount needed they will give you a Fancy Cat! Our Fancies will be very special cats that will range from variations on different breed colors ONLY available thru being a “Fancy”! Also… the KittyCatS! Jewels can be traded or sold for those of you who have more than you need. We hope this is fun for you!
* Introducing: Whiskers Whiskers Whiskers!
We’re really excited about adding the new whisker traits! It’s been something we’ve wanted to do for quite some time!
As of now the “default” whiskers are called Silver for color and “Guitar” Shape. Funny shape name huh?
As a little bonus we added a different hidden trait in the update (the same for all) which basically means YOUR CATS CAN HAVE OFFSPRING WITH A DIFFERENT SHAPED/COLORED WHISKER as SOON as you breed them! You won’t have to wait for your new babies to grow for this trait to show up! Even more new Whiskers to discover can be found in the new starters! Enjoy!
* ADDITIONS *
* Fully configurable On/Off floating text settings for your boxes! Including all traits, box name and size.
Time to give a more focused and pleasant oversight in your stores!
* Left Shoulder and Cuddle attachment positions are now restored when manually adjusted, reset on owner change, kept on update. So no more readjusting
* For KittyCatS HUD owners: HUD display increased from 240 to 275 KittyCatS!
* CHANGES *
* KittyCatS will not walk for 4 minutes after been sent home or teleported to you with the KittyCatS HUD.
* FIXES *
Boxes:
* Identical twins will no longer show as non identical after an update, for boxes born after this update.
* Box rotation will now be kept after an update… Yes, less work for you 😉
Cats:
* Cats will not listen anymore for a new name, partner or range if other buttons got pressed meanwhile in the menu.
(also fixes the problem where a cat for which a partner attempt was initiated , but not finished yet, messed up the partnering that was set from an other cat in the meantime).
* possible fix for some cats ending up with a disproportional head for a short time (Yes, we need your help here, keep reporting the problem if it still occurs!)
* “I love you, avi_name” will now only say the first name.
* Cats which have ” Walk & Run” and “Sit & Lay ” disabled will no longer do funny moves with their head… Oops!
HUD
* Perma-Pets will now also sort on gender.
* Cats will now also sort properly on sleeping when their name contains a symbol.
* Slider texture will now display correct with 50+ cats.
* HUD counter will now show 1-5 instead of 0-5 when 5 or less cats present.
* HUD will show the tool icons when exact 5 KittyCatS are found.
