Hi all! We thought it would be fun to start holding some Q&A sessions on various KittyCatS-related topics for everyone to attend. These sessions will be run by our Head CSR, Kitten Longmeadow, and are scheduled for the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month at 11:00AM. We’ll cover a wide variety of topics, like using the Online Cattery, Basic Care & Information, using the Support system, and more, so don’t miss out! See the attached notecard for more information, and we hope to see you there!

FAQ
What kind of topics will be discussed?
– Just about anything related to KittyCatS, especially features and functions. Possible topics include using the Online Cattery, searching for a lost cat, using the Ticket Support System, setting up your personal cattery, new owner tutorials, technical questions about KittyCatS, etc.
What kind of topics will you NOT discuss?
– We can’t give advice on breeding, trait dominance or recessiveness, sales advice, pricing advice, or anything along those lines. The KittyCatS Community has already done a wonderful job presenting their own findings on the above (and similar) topics, so we encourage you to use those community resources instead.
Will we receive advanced notice about topics, etc.? And will transcripts be made available?
– Yes! We’ll send out a reminder notice a day or so in advance, so be sure to check the Notices for the group. We’ll also post a reminder to our Facebook and blog and will post a transcript of the Q&A to our Forums within a few days of the event.
How long will the Q&A last?
– Expect things to last at least 30min, up to 1 hour. Each session format will include a brief tutorial or seminar on the current topic, and then we’ll open the session up to questions.
How will you conduct the Q&A?
– The Q&A will be conducted in voice by Kitten (so you can hear her SoCal accent – lol!) with questions being submitted via text/IM. An edited version of the Q&A will be made available as a transcript after the event.
If I have a question, how should I submit it to you?
– Send your question via IM to the Kitten Longmeadow or other designated staff/volunteer during the Q&A portion of the event. We’ll do our best to answer as many as we can.
I have a suggestion for a future Q&A topic! How can I let you know about it?
– Send any suggestions to Kitten Longmeadow. You can IM them to me, send them via notecard (titled “KittyCatS Q&A Suggested Topic”) or drop a notecard in my mailbox at the CSR Pavilion on the main store sim.
Will you conduct Q&A sessions at other times/dates?
– For right now, the current days/times are what we’d like to start with. If we feel their is a need to offer a different day/time, we can definitely take that into consideration.
Will you give out special prizes at the Q&A?
– Maybe! You’ll have to attend to find out. 😉

Hello friends! It’s time for our Monthly “Mewsletter” again, wrapping up all of the news from the previous month!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KITTYCATS!
February marked the SECOND year for KittyCatS! in Second Life! Can you believe we’re TWO?! It’s been a great two years and we want to thank the entire KittyCatS Community for all of your support and appreciation. Here’s looking forward to year #3!
NEW RELEASES
February was also a month of releases! As part of our birthday celebration, we released TWO special limited edition Birthday KittyCatS! One kitty was given as a gift at our main store and our birthday sim, but the other you had to do a little hunting for.
And just like last year, our start kitties got brand new birthday suits too! Check them out!
We also released our 2013 Valentine Collection – the BugS and the BeeS! This was an extremely fun collection for us to create for you and we hope during this season of love, they warm your hearts and remind you to LoVe all YEAR LONG!!!
Finally those of you that had kittens born between February 12-14 had a chance to have a special Mardi Gras kitty born to your cats! Aren’t they adorable?
Finally we released some new accessories for your KittyCatS in the form of Love Glasses and Western Hats. Available now at our main store!
SPECIAL EVENTS
Our Birthday Celebration lasted all month long (and beyond) and featured a number of special community events! We kicked things off on Thursday, February 7th with KittyCatS Trivia. Voting also began for our special Valentine’s Day KittyCatS Custom Collar Decoration contest! We followed up on Friday, February 8th with KittyCatS Fishing, as well as the start of both our Birthday Hunt and the beginning of voting in our special KittyCatS Birthday Decoration Contest.
The weekend was a lot of fun! Saturday, February 9th marked our very first KittyCatS MegaPuss Race on our Birthday Sim! Loaner cats were available for those wanting to race who did not have a MegaPuss of their own, and everyone had a blast! Then Sunday, February 10th marked our KittyCatS Second Birthday Party! The theme for our event was Western, and so many people came by to party and dance with KittyCatS that the sim was perpetually full! We had so much fun and we hop you all did too. We can’t wait for next year!
NEW DISCOVERIES
There were several new discoveries made in February! Congratulations goes to Kendrah Vantelli for discovering the Odyssey Slush Eyes, Femmestophilies Resident for discovering the Blush shade, and Fire Sabretooth for discovering the Main Coon Plush Calico Washed fur (wow…say that 5 times fast!) Congratulations to all of you on your new discoveries!
KITTYCATS OF THE MONTH – January
Unfortunately no one got the KittyCatS of the Month for February, though many came really close! Remember if you breed a KittyCatS of the month, you not only win a jewel, but you also get your KittyCat of the Month turned into a big cat! The race to get the KittyCat of the Month for March is under way – will YOU be this month’s winner?
