Ever wanted to have one of the KittyCatS Team members all to yourself for a couple of hours? Well now you can! Callie, Equinox, KittyCats, and Kitten are all up for auction at the community “Kitty and a Date Auction” tomorrow, Feb. 21 @5pm SLT. Bid on a team member and win a 2 hour “date” with us, along with our special KittyCat! Proceeds from the team members’ auctions will go directly to charity, so come down, support a good cause, and have fun! See you there! :)

Since we’ve been getting asked, here’s what we are auctioning, and where our proceeds are going. :)

Equinox Pinion (#5) is auctioning an RFL Steampunk Nikki PegaPuss perma-pet, with her proceeds going to Relay For Life

KittyCats Resident (#10) is auctioning the first KittyCatS EVER born (even before beta!) with his proceeds going to Relay For Life

Callie Cline (#15) is auctioning off a LoveBugs – The Lover MegaPuss perma-pet with her proceeds going to Fact Alliance, a charity which fights against human and child trafficking

Kitten Longmeadow (#23) is auctioning off a Lazy Dayzies – Daydream MegaPuss perma-pet with her proceeds going to Relay For Life

During this time everyone has a chance to birth a surprise kitten from their KittyCatS! These surprise birth kittens are limited to one per avatar. They will have a surprise costume over their regular fur/traits, however if you would rather have the kitten showing was is underneath the costume, you can file a ticket to have the costume removed.

We added a basic filter field to the cat tabs in the cattery!

Fast Facts:

Typing for example

gene -> filters & highlights cats with ‘gene’ in their name or traits.
gene| -> only highlights cats with ‘gene’ in their name or traits.

gene|small -> filters & hightlights cats with ‘gene’ and/or ‘small’ in their name or traits.
gene|small| -> only highlights cats with ‘gene’ and/or ‘small’ in their name or traits.

and so on… (You can connect as many search terms as you like this way. The more search terms, the more results.)

As a reference this small manual is also available in a short version by hovering over the word “filter” in your cattery.

KittyCatS Birthday Hunt!!

OK ALL… here are the instructions for our 3rd Annual Birthday Hunt! :)

There are 2 birthday cats this year – one for a boy cat, one for a girl. The BOY cat will be given in the hunt.

To get the BOY cat:

1. click the cake by the Boy Kitty (boy) at the store
2. go to that location and find another cake click it for the next LM. (make sure the cake is owned by Equinox Pinion – some people may have rezzed out their cakes, so if you don’t get a landmark, keep looking around)
3. keep going to each location until you get to number 17, which will send you back to our store.
4. click the cake again & get your cat! :)

Pedigrees & Co-Breeding

Your pedigree-view pages now show the offspring of male cats that you bred together with a female cat owned by someone else.

This will only work for offspring bred as of this date (January 30, 2014) as that information was not logged before.
