We’re excited to give you this new update and show you the things we’ve been working on! We really hope you enjoy it!
First, a BIG thank you to you all for being such an awesome community. We love what you contribute with your creativity and kindness. Week after week, we hear & see many of the fun things you do, and hear of the ways you are kind to each other. It’s inspiring.
We hope that the addition in this update help make your KittyCatS! experience more fun. We’ve enjoyed working on it for you and hope you like it.

HIGHLIGHTS
KittyCatS! proudly presents – Pose & Play – Posing your KittyCatS! just got a LOT more fun!
Our expanded “Pose” menu now contains 12 main categories with a total of 90 ways to pose your cats, including new lifestyle poses, portrait poses as well as our “old” Legacy poses!
This feature allows you to choose a category and scroll through the poses with forward & backward arrows while looking for the perfect pose!
In addition to the poses we’ve added, we’ve also added a feature that makes those even better! Our “Mirror” feature allows you to mirror ANY pose with ONE click. This gives you over 160 distinct ways to pose your cat!
For those of you who LOVE symmetry this feature will allow you to make mirror scenes or create the perfect couples pose! For you wildly creative types the sky is the limit!
These new posing options open up endless possibilities for your creativity. Taking photos of your feline babies or setting up cute “cat scenes” for your house, markets, stores, or anywhere you show off your cats will get a lot more fun.
KittyCatS! proudly presents – The Other Way Around! – a new animation feature!
A lot more variation for your cat’s animations!
Have you ever wondered if your cat was left handed because it only washed it’s left ear?
No more wondering! Your cats will now do a lot of things “the other way around”, including sleeping, laying, pawing, and more – creating a much larger diversity of movement for you to watch & enjoy!
So… get ready to have your kitties switch things up on you.
KittyCatS! proudly presents – ScreenPet!™ – a fun new way to see your kitty play!
You can now turn ANY cat into a little “Screen Pet” with a simple click! Click your cat, hit “interact” and “Attach HUD”. Your cat is now a cute living, moving HUD and ready to go!
This feature allows any cat you own to live in its own little home on your screen. Watch your cat walk or run and along a lovely meadow, see it play in the grass and enjoy the day! Watch your kitty roll, stretch, sniff, sleep, jump, and more! Enjoy watching your kitty while you work or shop or play. Your kitty can even wear it’s hats and collars and shirts!
You can position the HUD to be anywhere on your screen that you like best! And with one little click on the background, your kitty will minimize in the most ADORABLE way!
Your cat will eat normally from your sim OR if you are out and about it will eat portable food.
KittyCatS! ScreenPet™, a new fun way to enjoy watching your KittyCat play!

????KittyCatS! proudly presents – Say What? – Teach your cat a custom saying!
This new feature allows you to teach your cat a custom sentence! We know the cats LOVE to talk and express themselves and we are sure they can’t wait for you to expand their vocabulary
And If you use the word “AVATAR” they even will replace it with the avatar’s name. Team up with your cat and get fun and creative!
It’s easy to use, Just hit “animation” then “talk” and enter your sentence!
KittyCatS! proudly presents – One Prim Wonders! – now for boxes!
Our box images are now ONE PRIM!*
HOW TO ENABLE THIS? Just the way you used to! Click “image” on your box menu and with version 1.49+, your box will be 1 prim rather then 2!
When you update your box images to version 1.49 they will be converted automatically to 1 prim.
Yes! You can now finally decorate your shops some more with these freed up prims… OR maybe rez double the amount of boxes? 😛
*twin box images are 2 prims.
Other Additions & Changes:
* More butterflies! – We’ve added 10 more butterfly colors & designs for your cats to chase!
* One Click Text OFF for live cats! – You can now turn off all the text with one click on live cats! (just like on boxes). If all text is deselected, the “deselect all” button will turn into a “select all” button.
* More chatter! – We have added some new sayings that your cats will use when speaking to you! They insisted on this, again, of course.
* Love, Love – Your cats will now gain love while in inventory. (regular rules still apply. if out of milk/cuddle: gain love slower, if out of food: don’t gain love). Also great if your neighbor’s parcel decided to return your cat to your lost & found!
* 1 prim Cattery Dock! – The dock has been updated with a new design and is now one prim land impact. It now also only requests money permissions if needed!
* “Newbie protection”. When you try to send your cat to the Cattery when you don’t have a KittyCatS! Website account yet, your KittyCat will stay in-world.
* Magic & Miracle Menagerie bottles now have a land impact which is 1 prim less.
Additionally version 1.49 includes several more small changes and fixes. Some of these have been present, tested and fine tuned in earlier versions.

For KittyCatS! HUD owners… KittyCatS! HUD 2.01 & Legacy HUD 1.49
* Both HUD’s gained all new posing options!
* Both HUD’s now show a new “tools” icon when minimized, giving you direct access to their menu’s without enlarging!

HOW TO UPDATE
In the coming 24 hours your cats will start to show an “UPDATE ME” tag.
As soon as they do, the UPDATE button will be available in your cats menu to obtain an updater.
As of that point, you have 2 weeks to update your cats.
Make sure you have at least 30 prims available when you run the updater.
NOTE: Firestorm cats can not be updated. They were free collectible PermaPetS™ which will keep their release version through all their 9 lives.
EASY AS 1,2,3 updating steps:
1. Click the “UPDATE” button in the menu of your cat and it will give you an updater.
2. Rez the Updater
3. Click the “can of Update” and watch it as it updates all your cats and boxes! The updater will give KittyCatS HUD owners a new HUD as well.
No need to move cats, re rez them, group them, travel to sandboxes, pull your hair, or anything! It’s REALLY that easy. yay!
All settings for your cat will be kept, including the group. Only if you had a cat or box for sale, you will have to put them for sale again…
