You’re invited to join us and show us your beautiful creations!

Our first theme is “The ABC’s of KittyCatS!” This means participants can showcase breeds beginning with A, B, or C. Show us your best American Shorthairs, Abyssinans, Burmese, Balinese, Chateaus, etc.! And yes, this means Confettis too!

We’re thrilled about the possibility of this becoming a regular event, and September marks our kick-off! September means the end of summer, the beginning of fall, and…back to school!

If this sounds like something fun that you’d like to be a part of, please contact Kitten Longmeadow via notecard by September 20, and be sure to include your avatar name! Space is limited to the first 15 entrants so send your notecard in ASAP!

Set-up for this event will run from September 21-23. Judging will take place from September 24-26. Winners will be announced September 27. All displays will remain up for public view until September 30.

Judging will be conducted by a judges panel. Each participant will receive an award based on criteria such as “Best In Show”, “Most Creative Display”, “Most Unique”, “Most Interesting Trait Combination”, etc. We’re really excited about this first show and can’t wait to see what you’ve created!

RULES
This month’s theme is “ABC’s of KittyCatS” – only show cat breeds beginning with A, B, or C

– One table per person
– Only one (1) KittyCatS allowed per person (no multiple entries using alts)
– PG content
– Limit of 15 prims for your display
– Keep your displays within the parameters of the display base
– Normal sized cats only for this contest only please!

It’s time for another Q&A with Kitten! Our next Q&A will be on Sunday, Aug. 6 at 11AM SLT. The Q&A is done in VOICE. It’s held at the KittyCatS main sim, and our theme is “Breeding”. Whether you’re brand-new to KittyCatS!, or you’ve been part of our community for years, there will be info for everyone! Our Q&A’s are a lot of fun so grab your favorite kitty, bring your questions, and join us. See you there!

Come and join us this Saturday, August 5 at 1:00PM SLT for fishing at the KittyCats Docks! This will be a 7Seas unbaited fishing contest that lasts 1 hour, and our theme is “Summer Fun”! Come dressed in your summer best – swimsuits, sundresses, shorts, sandals, etc!

If you don’t have a pole you can pick up a basic pole from the vendor on our docks for 100L. The tourney is unbaited. 1st place wins a diamond jewel, 2nd place wins a ruby jewel, and 3rd place takes home an emerald. You’ll also have a chance to fish up some fun KittyCatS prizes!

Fashion and beauty are such an integral part of the SL experience for many people.

You may be familiar with Truth Hawkes, and the wonderful hairstyles, and clothing he works so hard to create. We’ve known Truth for years and have long admired his creativity and talent, so when he invited us to be his guest for this round of Uber, how could we say no? And the cats said DO IT!!!! or else!

KittyCatS is happy to have created this special, limited edition collection pair, exclusively for Uber!

Featuring fun “beauty inspired” art, and Truth’s love for those genres, we’ve named the male cat “Truth” in his honor. The female cat we named Dare for a bit of fun, Truth or Dare anyone? Together they make quite the stylish and fun pair that will have a SPECIAL UBER BABY!!!

We’re honored to be Truth’s invited guest to Uber for this round, and we hope that these cats help to brighten your Second life with their whimsical style!

KittyCatS! at the RFL Castle, Home and Garden Contest

KittyCatS! is once again a sponsor for the Relay For Life Castle, Home and Garden Contest! RFL’s theme for 2017 is “Passport to Hope” and we’ve placed out a few items that will be of interest to the KittyCatS Community! All proceeds from the sale of these items goes directly to RFL. :)

First up is our Exclusive RFL 2017 “whole world in his hands” Decor Statue! This is a limited edition item that is only available during the Castle, Home and Garden event, so be sure to pick yours up today!

Next, as part of the RFL CHG Hunt, we have a mini version of the decor statue that can be worn as a shoulder pet! This version is not a live cat and will not need food – it’s simply a wearable accessory for your avatar. The hunt item is REALLY easy to find! Just look by the big decor statue. :)
