2017 Halloween Custom Collar Contest!

Create a cool Halloween Custom Collar using our Collar Creator Kit and send it to Kitten Longmeadow for the contest!

Rules

ENTRY:
– Only one entry per person (not avatar)
– Entries must be PG rated.
– Use the Collar Creator Kit to submit your collar design (or submit your full-perm texture).
– Contestants who solicit for community votes or TP in people for the purpose of voting for their collar will be disqualified from the contest.
– By participating in this event you agree to the above.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS:
• October 20th at 11:59 PM SL time. Please send to Kitten Longmeadow in a folder with your name on it.

JUDGING AND WINNERS:
• Winners will be chosen by a combination of a community vote and a KittyCatS! judging panel.
• Community voting will begin October 23rd and end on October 27th 2017
• Winners will be announced October 29th 2017

SUBMISSION STANDARDS:
• All submitted work must be original and not infringe on the intellectual property of anyone else.

PRIZES:
1st Prize 10,000 K$
2nd Prize 7,500 K$
3rd Prize 5,000 K$

Our September CatShow Award designations are below! Congratulations to everyone! We LOVED seeing your gorgeous cats, and it was wonderful to see how everyone put so much thought and creativity into their displays! GREAT JOB ALL!!!

We’ll send you your custom trophy in-world. Display them with pride – you’ve earned them! :)

Fall is finally here! Come celebrate the start of changing leaves, crisper temperatures, warmer clothes, and all things autumn with KittyCatS at our Autumn Begins Fishing Tourney! This will be an unbaited 7Seas tourney and will last 1 hour. Earn KittyCatS goodies and fish your way to the top for a chance at winning KittyCatS Jewels! Throw on your coziest scarf, slip into some comfy boots, and break out the pumpkin spice! See you then! :)

You’re invited to join us and show us your beautiful creations!

Our first theme is “The ABC’s of KittyCatS!” This means participants can showcase breeds beginning with A, B, or C. Show us your best American Shorthairs, Abyssinans, Burmese, Balinese, Chateaus, etc.! And yes, this means Confettis too!

We’re thrilled about the possibility of this becoming a regular event, and September marks our kick-off! September means the end of summer, the beginning of fall, and…back to school!

If this sounds like something fun that you’d like to be a part of, please contact Kitten Longmeadow via notecard by September 20, and be sure to include your avatar name! Space is limited to the first 15 entrants so send your notecard in ASAP!

Set-up for this event will run from September 21-23. Judging will take place from September 24-26. Winners will be announced September 27. All displays will remain up for public view until September 30.

Judging will be conducted by a judges panel. Each participant will receive an award based on criteria such as “Best In Show”, “Most Creative Display”, “Most Unique”, “Most Interesting Trait Combination”, etc. We’re really excited about this first show and can’t wait to see what you’ve created!

RULES
This month’s theme is “ABC’s of KittyCatS” – only show cat breeds beginning with A, B, or C

– One table per person
– Only one (1) KittyCatS allowed per person (no multiple entries using alts)
– PG content
– Limit of 15 prims for your display
– Keep your displays within the parameters of the display base
– Normal sized cats only for this contest only please!

It’s time for another Q&A with Kitten! Our next Q&A will be on Sunday, Aug. 6 at 11AM SLT. The Q&A is done in VOICE. It’s held at the KittyCatS main sim, and our theme is “Breeding”. Whether you’re brand-new to KittyCatS!, or you’ve been part of our community for years, there will be info for everyone! Come and join us this Saturday, August 5 at 1:00PM SLT for fishing at the KittyCats Docks! This will be a 7Seas unbaited fishing contest that lasts 1 hour, and our theme is “Summer Fun”! Come dressed in your summer best – swimsuits, sundresses, shorts, sandals, etc!

If you don’t have a pole you can pick up a basic pole from the vendor on our docks for 100L. The tourney is unbaited. 1st place wins a diamond jewel, 2nd place wins a ruby jewel, and 3rd place takes home an emerald. You’ll also have a chance to fish up some fun KittyCatS prizes!

You may be familiar with Truth Hawkes, and the wonderful hairstyles, and clothing he works so hard to create. We’ve known Truth for years and have long admired his creativity and talent, so when he invited us to be his guest for this round of Uber, how could we say no? And the cats said DO IT!!!! or else!

KittyCatS is happy to have created this special, limited edition collection pair, exclusively for Uber!

Featuring fun “beauty inspired” art, and Truth’s love for those genres, we’ve named the male cat “Truth” in his honor. The female cat we named Dare for a bit of fun, Truth or Dare anyone? Together they make quite the stylish and fun pair that will have a SPECIAL UBER BABY!!!
