Excuse me.....you did not even attempt to contact me about this problem. No, I did not know about it. How can I fix it if I was banned from the region, my stuff returned and not my rent which was paid for weeks in advance. I have NEVER had an issue with anyone else and for you to call me out in public is reprehensible. I will gladly return your money or give you a cat. Now will you pay me my rent back or pay me for my damaged reputation because you jumped to the conclusion that I was doing something illicit??

I received your NC I sent one back. Did you not see that I contacted you. Yes it was not bye NC. But please I did contact you.

I jumped to no conclusion, it is a fact you were giving scripts when it clearly states cats.

I understand mistakes happen and when it happened more than once, more than twice, more than... A reputation is exactly what happens. In my real business if I repeatly short change people. I would get fired. In my second life business if a person buys a red dress and I sell them a green one. well...

I meant you no harm, I did contact you. I also did not say anything immediately when I received them (scripts) the other day (see second life records). I waited thinking well it was a glitch maybe.. But again it happened another day..

I appreciate you contacting me. Thank you.

Being the person I am, honest and good person, I will contact the staff at tooadorable and see what your rent was, and how much was left and if you are banned. I will give you half of the lindens back that you lost.

You should always contact people on SL by NC if they are not online. People's messages can be capped and they receive no more messages. They don't even know that they have missed any. NCs don't cap.

Also, if you kept paying into the same machine over and over, that is not the machine owner cheating you over and over. That's you playing on a borked machine without realizing it.

For the future, you should have contacted the owner by NC, waited patiently for an answer (given the fact of timezones and real life), then, say after a day, if you received no answer, THEN talk to the sim owners.

I also think this thread should be deleted.

You owe me nothing but an apology. Fortunately, Ace at Too Adorable was wonderful and assisted me in correcting this problem. If I had gotten a script once, then twice..I would have stopped then. I happened to be away and staying at a motel with the world's worst internet when this occurred. My IMs get capped. It says it on my profile- my profile says to send me an NC. I also had an online indicator that accepts note cards. How was I to know that it was doing that if you did not tell me? Using your example if I was continually being short changed by you, said nothing and continued to go to your register it would be my own fault. Bad mouthing you in public would only make me look ignorant.

I am sorry I didn't send you a NC. I should have waited to hear from you, yes. So yes am sorry but am not sorry for the making the cauldron public (to protect others).
If u wish for a reputable gatcha here is the ones I use and all you add are the items you are selling and motify the hovertext. there is a specially made gatcha for kittens and its reasonable priced and made bye someone in the community. Plus there is a full perm gathcha as well.
If you made the cauldron and want help to get it working I can help with that as well.

This should just stop seriously it becomes only worse this way.
If others would have obtained something and didn't receive it they would just ask privately for a refund there is no need for this as they know stuff can go wrong as in this case.
Also if you knew the gatcha was broken it would have been more than enough to tell this to Kendrah or one of the managers so they could remove it and this would not have slandered an innocent person while you would have protected the people you aimed to protect with all this.

hi all,

we have just a few simple guidelines for our community, and i'd like to chime in now on the core one.

*if someone does something that doesn't follow a guideline, go to them privately.

it really works wonders.

this thread i think illustrates that. AND, i am happy to see both parties work it out. this is part of community. we don't always follow the ideals we want, and often "react" instead of "act".

i think the OP was honestly trying to protect the community AND has seen there was another way. i think it's good to see this sort itself out, with kindness and forgiveness.

life, community and relationships are not easy. we're all the same. we make mistakes, and hopefully we can be gracious to each other and learn to hope the best.

thanks for everyone who posted and for the care you all have for this awesome community. we know none is perfect. i suppose only the cats can claim that Tongue

i'd ask that we allow the 2 of them work out the details that are left together. Smile

I've actually had this happen yesterday to me by a different gacha machine. I got some random script. But after that I paid again and got a kitty. Maybe the gacha is just off.

I had the same problem with the gotcha script I used. It worked until there was only one cat left. From that point, the person buying only got the script, not the last cat, and it didn't have a mechanism for telling people the machine was empty. The person this happened to let me know and I refunded her money and gave her the last cat, took the gotcha down until I could figure out how to fix it. If anyone can suggest a good gotcha script, I'd appreciate it!

Callie's right, as usual. I appreciated the person contacting and letting me know, giving me the chance to correct things.
