They confounded us again yesterday so Reven and I are taking a diffferent approach and those kitties will breed for the first time next week so lets hope for some usuable results.
here's my foxie chestnu

Posting it inline for you.
Since she's pure are you intending to do any tests with her?

And for those wondering why its pure
Jill is the special baby of Indigo and Mayo and she shows Chat Cat Tawny & White No.1.
Jill is then bred back to her father Mayo and produces a Foxie Chesnut, this is known to be recessive to CC Tawny & White.
THerefore Indigo hides Tawny & White and Mayo hides Foxies Chesnut.
Jill hides the Foxie from Mayo.
Jill and Mayos baby therefore has the hidden Foxie CHesnut from both of them making her pure Smile

had this born recently :

can post more of the pedigree if need be, but as far back as i can go the most recessive i am seeing is the Tonki blue

I also had this from the parent of the one above :

will be breeding that with a Choco Burmilla to see what is hiding behind it, i suspect the choco burmillas is behind it, in which case it's giving no more info at the present time.

In the above pedigrees Payson has only given me Aussie Blue Babies so might be pure, i got nothing but aussie blue babies when bred with a full sibling........ I have not tested to see if there is anything hiding but it still appears in the second breeding both cats tossed their recessive and that the foxie chestnut might be dominant to Aussie blue, will test more and dig more
Great Ivy, looking forward to seeing what Aidann hides Smile
I WILL try to post a link to the pedigree tomrorow, but the test was that the aussie blue is hiding Brumilla Chocolate so no go for anything pertaining to the foxie chestnut fur
Tonkinese Natural Mink is dominant to whatever hides here

Jayden hasn't been very keen on passing his fur before, so I have a feeling that it's a burmilla back there. The kitten will be unpacked for testing as soon as SL decides to let it load.
This is what my babies passed me for their first kitten:

Mom's Pedi:

Mom either hides Aus Mist Blue Marb or Tonki Blue Mink.
Though her parents only ever gave me these babies:

So I have a good feeling this Foxie hides the Blue Marble.
I've asked Dave if he ever bred the grandparent Russians to any other cats to pull their hidden fur. If he did then we might can get a proof out of it all in one shot lol
That fits perfectly whith my suspicions. All my Blue marble offspring have hid Burmilla

Mom shows Foxie Chestnut and is known to hide Burmilla Chocolate
Dad shows Tonkinese Blue Point and Most probably hides Australian Mist Blue Marble
The kitten shows Foxie Chestnut, and must therefore hide Dad's shown or hidden fur

The kitten is already unboxed.
