HAPPY 13th BIRTHDAY SECOND LIFE FROM KITTYCATS!

Inspired by the “Second Life Community” we’d like to say Happy 13th Birthday Second Life! We are thrilled to again be part of such a festive celebration of creativity and enthusiasm.

This is our 6th year in participating in the SL birthday celebration and we’re excited to bring you this commemorative SL13B KittyCat! This KittyCat is available to ALL residents, grid-wide as our Birthday Gift!

This cat was created JUST for this 13th birthday celebration, and incorporates the official SL13B Logo!

This collectible KittyCatS comes with a week’s worth of food. As a newborn kitten, it can be worn on your shoulder via the menu, or walk with you and you can pet it!!! After 5 days, your KittyCat can even come jump in your arms to be cuddled or held (via the simple menu selection). Your friends can even PET your cat!

ABOUT

KittyCatS are an interactive, multi-faceted breedable pet full of wonder and charm! KittyCatS were designed to appeal to a wide range of customers. From the single pet owner, to those that enjoy breeding to those who love interaction and discovery and to all those in-between!

We like to refer to KittyCatS as “Pets that can breed” rather than a “breedable” as they do much more than breed! KittyCatS feature elements of discovery, realism, mystery and wonder so that you will have a rich and rewarding experience with them and discover more and more about them as time goes on.

FAST FACTS

– KittyCatS are 13 prims without a collar. Collars, hats and vests add 1 prim each.
– KittyCatS are low lag and feature very low script time.
– You can cuddle and play with your KittyCatS and they can walk with you and tp around with you!!!
– KittyCatS can be set to breed or not – it’s your choice!
– KittyCatS make great pets!
– Starter KittyCatS come in one of five (5) random coat types and are no-transfer.
– From the five starter cats, you can discover over 70 different furs, over 70 eyes, and a multitude of other traits! over 55 million combinations possible!!!
– Offspring of starter KittyCatS are transferable! Give them to friends as gifts, or create your own pet shop and sell them!
– KittyCatS can be made into “permanent pets” that never need food and don’t breed.

KittyCatS SL13B Decoration Contest!

Happy Birthday Second Life! The Shared Adventure!

Decorate a place at our KittyCatS SL13B Sim with a KittyCatS scene! (going to be an awesome set!!)

The contest will be held at our KittyCatS SL13B Sim, and every participant will get 150 prims to decorate.

Fast Facts:
• Decorating will be from June 15th to June 18th .
• Sim opens on June 19th to the public.
• Voting will start on June 21st and will close on June 28th.
• Winners will be chosen by a combination of a community vote and a KittyCatS! judging panel. (*details in notecard you will receive as a participant)
• Winners will be announced on the June 30th!

The KittyCatS SL13B Sim will be open through the month of June.

Prizes are:
1st Prize 15,000 K$
2nd Prize 10,000 K$
3rd Prize 7,500 K$

The first 4 places will also be featured at our store in July!

Rules:
– One stall per person. (no alts)
– At least one KittyCatS has to be in the scene
– PG content

Note: We invite you to use your creativity and imagination as you set up your place. Imagine others taking a peek into a scene you create!

If you want to participate in the contest please send a notecard to Kitten Longmeadow so she can set you up. There are limited places available so apply fast!

KittyCatS & the 3rd Annual RFL Castle, Home and Garden Contest!

KittyCatS will be at the 3rd Annual Relay For Life Castle, Home and Garden Contest, which runs from May 23 – June 4, 2016. You can read more about this event at http://www.chgrfl.com/

We’re hosting a dance party at the event on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from 2-4PM SLT. All are invited, and it should be a lot of fun!

Landmark and more information to follow later…we can’t wait to see you all there!!!

It’s time for another Q&A with Kitten! Our next Q&A will be on Sunday, May 1 at 11AM SLT. The Q&A is done in VOICE. It’s held at the KittyCatS main sim, and our theme is “KittyCatS Products”. Whether you’re brand-new to KittyCatS!, or you’ve been part of our community for years, there will be info for everyone! Our Q&A’s are a lot of fun so grab your favorite kitty, bring your questions, and join us. See you there!

Time to make a really cool Easter Custom Collar!

Send your creation to Kitten Longmeadow for the contest! Be sure to include the collar texture (must be full-perm) and a sample of the collar itself.

Rules:
ENTRY:
1. Only one entry per avatar
2. Entries must be PG rated.
3. Entries by an applied texture to a collar prim & full-perm sample of the texture.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS:
• 19 March at 11:59 PM SL time.

JUDGING AND WINNERS:
• winners will be chosen by a combination of a community vote and a KittyCatS! judging panel.
• community voting will begin March 21st and end on March 25th 2016
• Winners will be announced 27th March 2016

SUBMISSION STANDARDS:
• All submitted work must be original and not infringe on the intellectual property of anyone else.
• Contestants who solicit for community votes or TP in people for the purpose of voting for their collar will be disqualified from the contest.
• By submitting a collar you agree to the above.

PRIZES:
1st Prize 10,000 K$
2nd Prize 7,500 K$
3rd Prize 5,000 K$

Happy 5th Birthday to you! We are so happy to celebrate our 5th Birthday will YOU all.

First, thank you for 5 years. It’s hard to believe that 5 years have gone by… time flies and at times and also, sometimes it seems to drag on forever. The last 5 years have been a bit of both. We’ve shared a lot as a community and are thankful for the opportunity to make kitties for you to enjoy.

We have prepared a special gift for you for this occasion and we hope you love it.

When thinking of the design for these cats, we decided it would be fun to take elements of all of the past year’s birthday cats and combine them with some new things… the result being these adorable non-identical twins! Yes, twins!

You are an AMAZING community. You have all helped in making this journey a wonderful one. We are truly honored to be part of this community with you.
