What are the best names you've given [or gotten] on your cats?

The outstanding names I have had from Auto namer recently have been:-
Sarah Jessica Parker
Mama
Anarchy
and my fave:- Narky

All made me laugh when I saw them - Loves the Auto namer!

i got one named callie... then she talked to me and i was like huh???

like i was talking to myself

i also liked when someone got "Old Bob" lol and "Noob" as kayleigh said...

and one day i got "ellen degeneres" lol.

I get a lot of unusual names and tend to look them up to see their origin and meaning. Tonight I got the most undignified name imaginable for a cat... Lumpy! The poor thing.

I do that too
I tend to look my cat's name meaning up in name dictonairies as well.
Oh, I had one named Max as well, cool and all, but it is the name of hubby so I had to rename him.
Otherwise I had to send him to menagerie one day and that felt a bit odd.

It may have felt odd,

but at least you got 50 menagerie bucks for your husband!

I bought an older cat named Ellen Degeneres. I told the seller, "I think she'll do really well in my cattery." The seller said, "Um, it's a male." It turned out -- the boy kitty had been named Ellen Degeneres so that he could be easily identified as intended partner for his mama, Ellen Degeneres.
I changed his name to Elio Degeneres just to make sure I remembered his de-gender.

My newest auto name that made me laugh was Neener. I let the boy kitty keep the name....just hopeful that maybe he'll show me something new since he's part of the Scarecrow collection.
