Bug: After purchase cat or box no menu only after re-rezz

Sorry, I don't think that this is a bug.

You need to rez the box in order to let the database know that it is now your property. An owner's menu will only appear if the database knows that the box is yours.

I couldn't reproduce this problem.
The menu should work at once.

It has also never been reported so far.

A possible other reason for your problem could be that you bought the box while wearing a group that doesnt match the group of the land, and which isn't allowed to run scripts. On purchase, the group will change to your active group.

If you rerez the box, most viewers will apply the correct land group automatically, making the scripts work again.

UPDATE I tried to reproduce the problem.
Our properties are group owned and I did a transaction from one account to the other while both parties were wearing the correct land tag during the transaction.
We had script running not enabled for everyone though but for our group only.
This seemingly was the problem eventhough we were wearing the land group we could not get the menu after the transaction.
After this I enabled script running for everyone and not for the group only and this solved the problem.
After purchasing a box or cat it is possible to click the box or cat again for the menu without having to take it in inventory and rezz it.
