Two things in one thread! Lets MULTI-TASK!

First things first,
when I tried to research the answer to my main question,
I realised I couldnt search ANYTHING.
Is it true these forums have no search function?????
Am I missing something????
Lets get some searchability!

Moving on to the main question.

I went poking around the KittyCats resellers realm.
Wandered about a zillion little stalls
and those wooden shacks people have rented in the vast consumer cat malls.
You know, the ones with a comfy armchair parked in it,
and you may find Ragdoll S. snoozing AFK in there.
Stopped at a few of those huge box stores.
Just windowshopping for nothing in particular,
and making casual observations on the basic nature of things KITTEH.
And what Im noticing is that BIGGER DE BIGS seem rarer than MEGAS.
Cant say if PETITES are rarer than everything,
because the size is not so dramatically obvious as the larger sizes,
and would require me to slowwwww down to look more closely.
But my generalised assumption based on what I am seeing out there,
is BIGGER DE BIGS are not happening very often at all.
So. . . the question is.
Whats the ratio?
Whats the percentage of BIGGERS, MEGAS, PETITES, TOYS, TEACUPS, NORMALS?
Is there a pie chart out there somewhere?
I've been considering MEGA'S to be the holy grail of kittehs,
but now Im thinking, 'rarity wise' perhaps not.
Of course, the sheer goof of having this 'giant thing you can ride' may
improve its desirability over something numerically rarer,
but that discussion would make three topics in one thread,
and my multitasking skills will collapse under the ponderous
weight of that development.

There is a search but I only see it after I click on a search-ish link - like "View Today's Posts" and then at the top I see:

Results
Clicking on Search takes me to the search page. But then I have to wait a few seconds before I can actually search because it limits the number of searches per minute.
There is probably an easier way to get to the search but that is how I find it!

I have more biggers in my cattery than megas. Maybe people aren't putting out biggers in their stalls as much because they don't command as great of a price as megas? I have about the same ratio of biggers and petites in my cattery.
I haven't seen a pie chart! That would be neat, though, to know the probability of each size!

I agree that encountering a MegaPuss for sale in the secondary market is much more prominent as individuals may feel more compelled to try selling a MegaPuss versus a Bigger de Big and a MegaPuss will often sell for more than the other 'special' sizes. I see the least amount of Petites and Bigger de Bigs in the secondary market.

I don't think this is indicative of the rarity in an actual cattery though, I actually find that I get more teacups (and see about as many teacups in the secondary market as MegaPuss) in my cattery and I know others probably have results much different than my own perspective. I'd totally love to see a size percentage chart though as I don't think we'll ever be given true confirmation on the 'drop rates' of the special sizes and will have to compile our own research as a community.

Thank you for teaching me something new today, Misa! Hopefully the search function can be added to a part of the main forum page because for as much time as I've spent on the forum, only reading your post just now made me realize we have some form of a search! LOL

I too have about the same variety in sizes I received during breeding; before my break that was :-)
Eventhough I'm a mega fan of Petites and Bigger de Big's I think most people value Mega's more indeed.
This might change for in world breeders though XD
Because the Mega is pretty incovenient to breed with in a humble cattery.
I hope KC will invent a smaller breed mode for our breeding Mega's.

Since the new sizes have come out I personally have gotten a lot more petites than other sizes. I think it's definitely true, however, that you may see more megas in the sales market.

Also, yay for Misa! I always wondered if there was really no way to search the website and but now I know!

I've gotten one bigger, 4 or 5 megas, & one petite. I'd love to get more bigger. that seems just about the right size for this Tiny.

This may come as a shock to many...but I'm a fan of going off topic. I think it makes a thread more fun and interesting.
I never tried a search here, but it sounds like Marketplace where everything takes you to a penis.

I haven't looked around the second market in a long time so I have no clue what is out there. (but when I hit the lottery I will buy all your kitties)
I love the little kitties. The megas are fun though so I love them too. lol
