I've been having so much fun with the kitties since I returned ~ watching my MegaPusses grow is remarkable!
And Kayleigh, I heard there is a MegaPuss race on this Sunday (tomorrow)! I'll have to check the time, but I can't imagine any reason I couldn't make it. If you can't make it, well, we'll all pile onto my sim next weekend and do a few laps of the island and party like it's 1994
BTW, I called FedEx to express my 'dissatisfaction' and was told someone would investigate the matter. I got a phone call on Friday from the manager of the customer service department.
I was preparing to launch into my now familiar tirade when he told me he'd reviewed the emails and the recorded phone calls, said he wanted to apologise on behalf of FedEx for the errors, lack of communication, inaction, and in one case the pure negligence that would have delayed the parcel by two more months and said he wanted to offer me a full refund. No debating the issue or haggling - just 'I want to offer you our sincere apologies' and 'how would you like us to process your refund"?'
He also sent an email to my son apologising for all of the trouble he'd gone to and acknowledging that it was my son - not fedex - who took the necessary action to have the parcel cleared and released.
Result!
