First, I apologise if this is in the wrong section of the forum.
My 11 month old gaming laptop has died and it has to be sent to the states where it was purchased for repair. I had been using my daughter's laptop to access SL for the past two days, but her laptop was 4 years old and in bad repair and the power connection on it died last night my time.... I just discovered it would cost 300 to $400 to repair so it's not worth it.
I tried to get my cats into cattery before the battery died, but only managed to get a few in there.
I will be without a computer for up to a month.
I doubt my son's macbook pro can cope with SL and I'm not inclined to take a risk with his computer.
Is there any way I can get my cats from SL into the cattery using this site? I'm not sure how I will feed and breed them unless i have an easy workaround. The food in the feeder on my sim will only last maybe 2 more days.
Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated

Hey there! Ugh! Sorry about the computer trouble =o( I think the only way to get a cat into cattery is to be in world and click the cat etc. You could however try filing a support ticket and see if the KC tean could help. In the meantime, if others are able to rez on your land, we could put some food bowls out. Best of luck and we miss you! Feel free to PM me here if there is anything I can do to help.

I managed to contact a tiny mutual friend of ours who will log in and send my kitties to the cattery for me, so I won't have to worry about them getting sick or not breeding.
I miss everyone too. I really appreciated your advice and your offer to help - thank you so much!

Computers can be so plain annoying especially with the high demands of SL.
Sorry to hear you have a series of problems with them!

My comp has just been sent by fed ex to the states - it only takes 24 hours to get there - then maybe 14 days to repair and hopefully just another couple of days back to me.
I'm hoping my kitties will be in cattery by tomorrow so I can manage them from there. It will take my mind off missing friends and auctions and everything else.
(Yes, I know some ppl have REAL problems)

I had a similar issue not long ago when I had to send my computer to the US as well. It can be almost painful to only sit down and wait but hang in there! They might even finish fixing it before the expected time!
