And long time since I've looked at the placement of Aby Dark Choc - I was scrabbling around to find it (eventually hit control F) - and there it was all the way up there. I still remember when it was the most recessive fur.

Looks like Ocicat Platinum is recessive to the British Shorthair Slate & White

I dug as far into the pedigree as I could and all I could see in Piers part of the pedigree is the Cheetah! Lime No. 2 so I'm guessing the Ocicat Platinum was hiding for a long time.

British Shorthair - Slate & White is recessive to Toyger - Coal, as we know from the earlier test shown in this thread that Salvatore is hiding it from Daniel-Sean. Proof from my cats.

I figured out that it was coming from Domino's side of things, when I tested Smudge with other kitties she was able to make multiple Slate & White kittens and I have a very long line of kittens the come from these two cats. It was a 50/50 gamble with them at the start if the kittens carried the Slate & White vs the Ocicats! If anyone was wondering! I'm sorry I hadn't commented here again, I'm not very good at keeping up with forms so I'm sorry I hadn't shared more. Rain the one that it pulled from, she made multiple Slate & White kittens with a few other cats too (I kept the kittens and Rain is now a perma kitty, she got too old) so the Ocicat came from Piers side of things, I can 100% confirm this. Some of the Ocicat kittens they had ended up hiding Slate & White (I was told, not sure it's true) but it's been interesting.

Showing more of the bloodline for anyone curious on the kitties that I've kept! Some of the originals Archer and I sold as we opened new kittens working on trying to bring new eyes, the keylime ones are pretty dom as a heads up!
