Yeah, but look at all the hids you popped on that kitty: eyes, tail, ears, whiskers! Awesome. Too bad it wasn't a Blue Point -- would have uptraited that kitty in one go! Very pretty kitty!

RE: Tonkinese - Blue Point Recessiveness
Following the news that Mitchel wasn't pure Reven and I put him and Violet together again for another try and got another Blue Point. Will be popping him to test his hidden and hope for better luck than last time Smile

RE: Tonkinese - Blue Point Recessiveness
So got a baby today from our second attempt and this is it.

Violet and Mitchel will breed again later. I have a sneaking suspicion that when we get Violet to pass the Blue Point and Mitchel passes the Nat Mink that the Nat Mink is going to be dominant, lol, or is that just a vain hope for a fast result Smile

Sneaky kitties!
I suspect the same, Arwen. I believe that NatMink is dominant to Blue point, but those two have to prove it. One day.

Keeping my fingers crossed for success next round.

RE: Tonkinese - Blue Point Recessiveness
Keely declined to show her hidden this week so we go again. Her brother will breed next week as well.
In the meantime I am tempted to pop these 3 boxes to see what hides.
The Bali Choc defo hides the Blue Point from Violet, this was her first box.
Both the patches have the Nat Mink as Dad so if one of those were to hide Nat mink and breed with the Bali choc either fur showing would be a result.
Of course I will wait until Violet & Mitchel breed again today on the remotest off chance that they will throw out a Nat Mink Smile

Bashes head into desk in sheer frustration as 2 more Blue Point babies reveal their Nat Mink dad passed his hidden Blue Marble,

I have one more box and the parents breed again as soon as I dose the Damn Cats with love5, lol.

Will see what they give me today then rethink my strategy on this. This is 4 in total now from the same parents.

Damn stubborn cats! I have a female NatMink box that can be popped to mate with one of my Blue Points if needed.

Do you want one of the boys I tested to use? I have 2 and no need for both. Favonius and Ansell I think both are in this thread somewhere, just let me know if you do and which you prefer Smile
I'm actually thinking to pop The first baby from the Blue Point, a Bali choc hiding Blue Point along with the female Patches from Violet and Mitchel to see if one of those hides Nat Mink then breed the hiders until we get an answer.
I snuck into Fabaos cattery and searched his starters earlier in the hope he had opposite gendered cats hiding the furs but sadly not, I will get him to keep an eye out in case any of those yet to reveal should prove helpful.

Sounds good to me. My Blue Points hide Blue Marble and Blue Mink, so it will be two generation round anyhow.
