My AM-DC x Pandie Plat was a fail -- test kitten #2 had the wrong hidden (Tonk Natural Mink).

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
my coffee chat with maybe australian mist dark choco hid just failed -- had black bengal hid. hopefully one of you all gets it on the next one. I tried 6 times and got these results. You would think with a 50% chance of getting the partner's shown I would have gotten it at least one. Ah well. my last day so no repartnering

I had the worst luck with this trial,
failed Bruce Aussie Dark Choco vs Coffee Chat Tonki blue mink hid
failed Rocit Aussie Dark Choco vs Coffee Chat Aussie Blue Marble hid
failed Leighanne Aussie Dark Choco vs Coffee Chat aby dark choco hid
failed Briet Aussie Dark Choco vs Coffee Chat aby dark choco hid
failed Graeme Aussie Dark Choco vs Coffee Chat aby dark choco hid
failed Zucchini Aussie Dark Choco vs Coffee Chat black bengal hid

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
If anyone with Male Aussie Dark Chocs is interested the snowshoe Red girl hiding Chat Coffee & Cream is sat in my cattery doing nothing. Shes been quite willing to pass the Chat Cat so if anyone wants to breed her and see if they get an Aussie Dark Choc you are welcome to. Her hidden proof is posted in both the British & Scottish Threads so getting an Aussie from a breed with her would be proof since the Snowshoe Red is proven dominant to the AMBC Smile

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
I accidentally made a pure Coffee & Cream when trying Snowshoe Red against British Shorthair, Bred the son hiding it back to his mother and voila pure Coffee. If anyone can use it for testing give me a shout. Smile
Esp good if anyone has a pure AMDC, its a girl btw.

My AM-DC x Bali Lilac test cat dropped an AM-DC kitten for the third consecutive week. So we go another round and hope maybe she will cooperate and reveal her hidden fur next time.

If anyone in the Saga projects wants this 9T Aussie male to use for a test mating, shoot me an IM in world please.

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
one of my last few tests to throw it's hid

Australian Dark Chocolate is recessvie to Foxie Blondie

Mom has Bengal Black shown
Dad has Foxie Blondie shown
Baby has Australian Dark Chocolate shown
proving Dad's hid is Aussie DC and that Aussie Dc is recessive to Blondie

Kayla's result knocks out my Bali test... so I'll go ahead and pick those cats up.

Congrats Kayla! Smile

My Aussie Dark Choco vs Ocicat Blue had the wrong hid (after popping 6 babies in a row with the shown!) I'd be really unhappy but it gave me a ruby so I am doing a happy dance instead, lol. If a test is going to fail, offering apologies with jewels and megas sure helps!

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
Congrats on the Ruby!

I currently have an AM-DC paired with a Pandie Fawn (TY Summerwind for the loan of your gal).

I also just pulled a boxed Bali Blue w Tap Reef eyes onto my mat (there's a strong chance he could be 'pure' for both) -- I'll unpack him tomorrow to partner with an AM-DC w Sparkle Dream eyes.
Might as well work on both the eye and fur placements from one pair.

I know the feeling, my Scottish teacup gave me an emerald and another teacup before passing her Snowshoe Red. Now that I want Scottish from her shes decided to show me how clever she is and keeps passing the Red.
