RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
I am breeding Australian Dark Chocolate Marble against Foxie Cocoa & Cream to place two furs that are floating in the same area in relation to each other.
My first breeding returned a lovely Australian, and she is already unboxed for testing.

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
My second Pandie Plat x AM-DC mating again produced AM-DC shown. First kitten had the incorrect hidden fur, so I have upacked the second kitten for testing and re-partnered the Pandie with an AM-DC again to create some more back up boxes.

Just a quick note to mention that I have a AMDC X Foxie Blondie pair on my project mat.
They should drop a box in a couple of days.

This post will be cross posted to the AMDC and FCC threads

Maternal grandma shows Foxie Cocoa & Cream
Maternal grandpa shows Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate.

Mum shows Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate and hides grandpa's shown or hidden fur.

Dad is an Australian Mist - Blue Marble, which is known to be recessive to both Foxie Cocoa & Cream and Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate.

Kitten shows Foxie Cocoa & Cream, which must have passed from mum and be her hidden fur.

This proves that Foxie Cocoa & Cream is recessive to Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate.

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
8/28 update: My AM-DC x Pandie Plat pair gave me a Pandie Plat shown fur on their kitten this week. He's unpacked for testing.

So I now have one Test kitten with AM-DC fur shown and another with Pandie Plat shown fur, both out on my mat at Saga.

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
I've just paired my British furred male (who is confirmed to hide AM-DC) with a Bali Chocolate female.

And Ivy and I have an AM-DC paired with her Bali Lilac.

Working it from the top/more Dom furs on down.

RE: New Australian Mist - Dark Chocolate recessives
Since I have a memory of being told the AMDC was recessive to Bali Flame but no proof was ever forthcoming I decided to pop out and grab a pair from the love tables to satisfy my curiousity over if it is indeed the case
This is the baby they produced which is already unpacking.
