RE: Summer...

Anyone else?
Any historical precedent as to whether any perceivable bump will last more than a few days?
SLbirthDay kittens, and RFL, make people remember that KC is still there. This is always good to return the focu people.
well, speaking only in sales since the late summer of 2014 I have a theory about why the summer of 2014 was so bad, but that summer 2015 is being better.
Someone must have done a study on this, but it is easy to note that the fur is the main trait of kittens. In many respects, the fur is often the only thing that people come mainly for beginers that is almost 100%. Only those who go to a higher level can look which means other traits.
So the continuity of new releases fur is the most important item to keep active secondary market.
If you are looking for new traits list Kittens Easter 2014 you will see that no new fur was launched.
We all know the hole that exists Easter until Halloween, and without new fur on Easter, is like killing all of the secondary market trade.
Christmas 2013 was released 'siamese tortie', new more recessive, and then valentines 2014, another new more recessive, abyssinian dark chocolate.
When it was Easter, the Siamese tortie was with really low price, and then the entire market was moving to abyssinian dark.
Coming the month of August / September, almost all had abyssynian dark, and nothing to sell.
February / 2014 two dominant fur were found, Pandie Fawn and Ocicat Black. It was almost impossible, only two dominant fur survive february month until the month of October.
'Dominant Fur' has the tendency of the price going down much faster than the new furs more recessive.
So when it came the month of October, the secondary market was dying. Latest sighs. The KC solution for Halloween 2014 was very good, 10 new eyes, and many new fur. Yes. KC needed to save the secondary market. It was really a new breath to the market.
Advantage of this description in 2014, you can understand why I see that the year 2015 will be better.
All we were very afraid. No one knew if the KC would repeat the Easter 2014 again in 2015.
Fortunately, for the happiness of the secondary market, we see new fur 'natural mink Tonkinese', and now 'Blue mink Tonkinese', more recessive in Easter 2015. Of course, remembering Australian Fawn, and Foxie Cocoa.
This is simple, KC gave fur to work throughout this period of Easter, and Halloween.
If, not new summer collection, at least, I hope KC give us more new furs in Easter 2016.
Certainly, this is not the only theory to explain. But it is what makes me believe and continue to work.
This is my vision of the market today.
I hope I can have contributed something.
