RE: Introducing "KittyCatS! Co.Op!" - *EVEN* More Markets are Joining!!
Often ideas such as the KittyCatS Co-op run into problems.
This usually results from the lack of a clear organization.
The solution is to draft a governing charter and form a governing body.
The idea is to have it clearly stated what is expected of each member, what are the rights, privileges, and responsibilities, if any.
There are any number of organizations which the Co-op could model themselves after. Being a computer geek, Apache, OpenSSL, and similar bodies come to mind. They're probably far to complex for the Co-op, but I'm sure more appropriate examples could be found with a bit of web research. I would suggest that several Co-op members should begin with that research, borrow the good ideas they find, and begin drafting a consensus report. As work on that progresses, they should seek (even encourage) comments and suggestions from others, until arriving at a draft *all* members can agree to. Then, with that document in hand, the organization can begin to fill the various roles and implement the services required to support the organizational goals.
