we have just a few simple guidelines for our community, and i'd like to chime in now on the core one.
*if someone does something that doesn't follow a guideline, go to them privately.
it really works wonders.
this thread i think illustrates that. AND, i am happy to see both parties work it out. this is part of community. we don't always follow the ideals we want, and often "react" instead of "act".
i think the OP was honestly trying to protect the community AND has seen there was another way. i think it's good to see this sort itself out, with kindness and forgiveness.
life, community and relationships are not easy. we're all the same. we make mistakes, and hopefully we can be gracious to each other and learn to hope the best.
thanks for everyone who posted and for the care you all have for this awesome community. we know none is perfect. i suppose only the cats can claim that
i'd ask that we allow the 2 of them work out the details that are left together.
