let's see what did I see in the update NC....
"? Cats will now leave the Scratch & Play posts as a "whole".
? Cats will now behave normal when a Scratch & Play post is outside their range."

I guess the second one doesn't really apply here (don't even know what they mean by that) but I would think the first one is what we are talking about for kittens and teacups getting dismembered.
