Thanks all for the clarification. I don't have a lot of prims in my Linden house, so most of mine are born in the cattery. The instructions, as supplied, do not explain how to get the signature in the forums..all the notecard says is to rez the statue. No explanations at all. It is obviously a nice convenience for you folks with in-world catteries, but really not worth the money for those of us who use the online cattery.. Oh well...buyer beware, lol.

When you have a kitten born in-world on the same SIM as the sensor, the code for your signature will be at the end of the info it sends to you in local.

Mine has a link like this:

in between the brackets for displaying an image in the forum:

[img]Your Personalized Image URL (Like The Link Above) Goes Here[/img]

If I copy and paste the whole thing in here, it just shows the same image as the one in my signature below. All the images are stored and automatically updated on the KittyBox's servers, which is part of what you're paying for.

I have a Linden home too, and know exactly what you mean. That's how I got in the habit of having milk in the cattery. Then, when I got room on my girl's SIM to put my cats out in world, I just kept it that way.

I would imagine they can't read something from the online cattery because the online cattery is protected -- meaning no one can access your account except you and KC. Which is a good thing because none of us would be happy if people could hack our cattery (unless the hacker gave me diamonds or exotic journey -- sighs wishful thinking)

on limited prims, my kitties in my linden house drinking milk are 2d which only takes up 1 prim each. I do sometimes have the occasional kitten running around (lol, sometimes poor baby gets get stuck between the other kitties)

I used to cuddle about 60 cats a day but have been busy lately so most of my cats don't get the milk or the cuddle so love takes a little longer to get to 100%. I'm a little broke so that's ok. I just give milk to those that I paired who need to catch up to their partnr or if they are close to 120 days -- example A is at 80% and B is 40% love and I paired them. I put B on milk -- B will get an extra 4% bump a day to help it catch up to A faster.

It's good to know that I'm not the only one who tries to save on milk.
This is me, shoes off, no mesh or extra parts on except for hair, literally cuddling 31 cats!
(The ones still running around are permas.)



And I do love cuddling my kitties...just maybe not ALL of them at once.

I'm not cheap, I'm just frugal! LOL!
Actually, I like to think I'm smart and save where I can so that I can better afford the beautiful little things that I love.

That being said, this is all actually on my girl's SIM. I feel VERY lucky not to be stuck in a tiny Linden home anymore, trying to decide what furniture to pick up so I can put out another cat or having to change them to 3D and pick them up one at a time. I do have to keep an eye on prim and script usage here too, but that is good in that I have a reason other than myself to remember not to go overboard. She is really concerned about what breedables do to to scripts, lag and all the various aspects of SIM performance, which affects her renters too. Luckily, she also loves watching them run and play as much as I do, so we work to find the balance.

Yay! The background on the signature has been random - it changes when the new image is generated for a new birth - but I did suggest we be able to set it to what we want it to be, and I think Daymen was working on it.
