oh, poor babies. Time to beam McCoy back up. Of course, he will complain he is a doc, not a vet but he does get the job done?

how come there's no vet on any of the star treks? all those people, they had to have pets

To my knowledge, only Data from The Next Generation had a pet - his cat, "Spot"...

So, for those who poo-poo on pets in Starfleet, CATS were allowed on the Enterprise (at least TNG)... heheheheh!
