Ensign Matzah - Rescue Mission
On her birthday (today) Ensign Matzah, Federation Starship USS Tarkus NCC-179, led her first off-ship assignment... overseeing the rescue of two neglected, starving, sick kittycats.

Now in the USS Tarkus sickbay, our hopes are that both will recover and thrive... (though in hindsight I am very concerned about ... kittens...)

Ensign Matzah is being considered for rank promotion to 2nd Lieutenant for her excellence in kittycat service in Fleet as a Command rated officer.

They want to adopt him... So, Bartoli has been nursed to health...

...and prepared for his new assignment and home, serving as Carol's kittycat on the USS Enterprise! (Matzah sleeps in the background, resting after a long day of tending to the sickbay kitties...)
