At the moment you don't know what the Smoke hides or if indeed its a pure colour, this suggests one of two things.
1. Its pure and recessive to Grey Tipped White
2. It hides Grey Tipped White and passed it
I'd suggest discovering what the two starters hide, pairing both with Grey Tipped White would provide answers, if one passes Smoke. Smoke is dominant, if both pass Grey Tipped White Smoke is recessive.
