Heart Repost of New (old) Ideas I have had (sorry I had it in the wrong area of discussion)
Once again my brain has been in over drive way too long and after discussing with my friend i have decided to write a thread with not just 1 but a couple ideas and see what kind of discussions can arise from it. I will be listing why i think there maybe problems and leave it up to discussion on how these ideas can be improved to actually work.

1. Tiaras for girls and Crowns for boys - I'm almost certain that this idea has crossed many breeders mind and i just wanted to throw it out there. I know the one major problem is keeping both the crowns and the tiaras to 1 prim. couple ideas for a solution is a sculpty or using a mesh hat, but i have no idea how this will effect the kitty cat themselves.

2. seasonal outfits or accessories for our favorite cat- ever had that one cat you wanted to dress up with fake Easter ears or put a fake Santa beard on, without them being a costume cat? i like the idea of having my favorite cat being allowed to be dressed up for the season. Doesn't mean i will never buy a costume cat. just i know i have my favorite cat that i like to lug around with me. the problem i find with these is the same problem as above keeping it down to 1 prim

3. Play mouse or Ball of yarn- I know they have a scratching post for amusement but i was thinking if they made a mouse for the kitties to play with that would be cute and i know it would be a great way to spoil the kitties ^^ it would be something you can place on the floor like the post and the cat could jump around a bit and swat at it giving them amusement and hours of joy to watch Smile the problem i find with this is a whole new set of animations would have to be created or old animations would have to be tweaked so I'm guessing scripting this wouldn't be any fun at all

4. catnip potted plants - once again I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought of this in fact I know I'm not the first but the idea of bringing more joy to these wonderful Lil balls of fluff fills me with happiness. Once again the problem of animations and scripting would be involved here

5. capes and sashes - young Zorro and young Lil beauty pageant contestants and the best part is they are all Lil fuzzy winners to me ^^ even lil read riding paw comes to mind for a lil red cape for a girl. the problem with this idea in general is to make the capes stick around the cat but move with the cats movement as fabric instead of as a part of the body the sash may work but the capes may be a little far fetched of an idea still the thought puts a smile on my face

these are just a few of the ideas i have had so tell me what you think and maybe some improvements to each of the ideas.HeartHeartAngelHeartHeart

Now i wanna hear all your thoughts on each of the subjects or if you have something to add ^^ hope this isn't too much reading and I do apologize if this seems a little sloppy of a post lol i will try to give myself more time to edit my ideas before i post them ^^

Thanks for the ideas Smile

Number 3 has been implemented already as far as I'm concerned with the play feature. The more kitties playing at the same time, the more fun btw!

I still like #1 a lot. My kitties want their tiaras pleeeease!

Not very interested in catnip related stuff.

I love all the ideas!!

As for #3 I think she means something we can put out for them to play with not an interaction type thing which I'd love to see my cats wandering around playing with toys and batting them to each other rather than play fetch with them.

Yes Thank you Sanura that's exactly what i mean ^^ sometimes just the enjoyment of watching them play with something on their own is just as gratifying. I think the best example i could come up with was to be similar to the scratching post, but the idea of its own little mouse toy or ball of yarn makes me want to squee hardcore

I replied when this post was in the general discussion part of the forum and can't remember all that I wrote, but I LOVE your ideas, Bala.

I mentioned your tiara idea in group chat last night and it was pounced on ~ everyone loved it! And most people agreed that the prim problem could be overcome fairly easily (I have a tiara that is only 3 prims) or that these would be so special we wouldn't mind a few extra prims for our special cats, the kings and queens of the cattery or our permapets. Or all of our cats Smile

I also love the catnip idea. I was thinking of the same thing yesterday when my cats were rolling around in the garden and I thought of heading to a garden centre or marketplace to find catnip. Something interactive would be a lot more fun.

I can't remember what else I posted in my original reply, but I love your ideas ~ esp those I've mentioned ~ and it would be great to see them implemented! Heart

Please note that I said "as far as I'm concerned", not that it was the same. To me the way they play now is enough and I have a lot of fun interacting with my kitties. I understand if you feel you'd like something different, but I was just expressing my own personal preference there.
