Hello all :-)
Recently, the "KittyCatS Events" and the "Breeding" boards have had posts in them that refer to KittyCatS community events (By the community rather than the KittyCatS staff). I am not saying that posting these events there are wrong at all - I'd probably do it too, in lack of a better place to post such stuff. -I am just saying that we need such a place :-)
These events are mostly breeding classes etc. done by dedicated people who spend their time to benefit the KittyCatS community - but the line between where to post stuff like this just got thinner. What should I do if I host an auction AND a breeding class at the same time? -Or if I host a breeding class or a trivia-event, but have raffles, tip jars and kitty-sales at the same time? Would that also be ok in the breeding-forum, or does it then suddenly belong down in the cluttered sales-forum?
So - I think we need a "KittyCatS Community Events" board. A board with clearer rules: NO sales, but just events, all by the KittyCatS community
It would give the people who spend time and energy to create these events an extra platform to post them on, without drowning in the "sales"-forum.
So give a hand to those dedicated event-creators AND those who wish to strengthen the community by going to these events, even if they're not interested in sales. The community has grown so large and diverse now that the "call your friends"-method is just not enough anymore, lol... We need a board :-)
