RE: I got a Bubblegum Tiger
Yay! Thank you and another notch on the dominance charts taken off.
It's down to bengal tawny (I have a test going) and aussie lilac.

And can I just say that "Ivanna Humpalot" is the best name for a cat I've seen in awhile. I really did laugh out loud and nearly spill my drink. Big Grin

RE: I got a Bubblegum Tiger
Tiger! - BubbleGum is dominant to Australian Mist - Lilac Marble

Huette hides Tiger! - BubbleGum and she bred with Carney an Australian Mist - Lilac Marble they produced Sharon, a Tiger! - BubbleGum.
Sharon bred with Austin a Burmilla - Lilac Shaded and they produced an Australian Mist - Lilac Marble which must be Sharons hidden fur as its dominant to Burmilla - Lilac Shaded.

I think we have it placed....someone correct me if I am wrong.
Bred a Bubblegum to a Bengal Tawny and got Bengal Tawny....had to play with it a bit because they kept throwing their recessives and took two kittens that were Bengal Tawnys to get here but today's results....

RE: I got a Bubblegum Tiger
You've done it!
You've placed bubblegum recessive to bengal tawny and dominant to lilac marble.
Thank you.
I personally want to thank you because I was working on this test and my last tester box was hiding the wrong fur, and I was going to have to open another box. Now I don't have to. Smile

I've been toying with this for what seemed like forever and thanks go to Claudette for the Bubblegum boy that made this possible.

RE: I got a Bubblegum Tiger
I know the feeling ladies, took forever to get Huette to pass her BubbleGum and make a cat I could test, thankfully her daughter was more cooperative ans passed her Aussie Lilac first attempt.

The Bubblegum fur was only obtainable from the Summer Tiger Tiger Collection which is no longer sold through KittyCatS as it was a Limited Collection. Therefore you can not get a Bubblegum Tiger through a starter cat. It has not been officially "retired" per KittyCatS management, however, for all intents and purposes it it because it can not be obtained for normal starter cats. It must be purchased on the secondary market or through unopened Tiger Tiger Collection cats purchased on the secondary market.
