RE: Burmilla Blue Shaded
Had a brain freeze on whether Russian Black meant my Snowshoe Red tests were needed, thankfully a quick trip to the forum charts and I'm pairing them up for another go next week Smile

RE: Burmilla Blue Shaded
Heres the first kitty bred from my Burmilla Blue and Revens British Shorthair C&W.

Seanan hides Aussie Blue Mist and Burmilla Buster hides Scottish Shorthair (proof is in other threads)
For the purposes of this test only Seanan matters though and the baby is unpacking as I add this. Check back in a couple weeks for an update.
Breed will be repeated in case he threw AMBM.

Recessive to Aussie Mist Dark Chocolate

Emmalynn hides Burmilla Blue:

I paired her with Lincoln, an AMDC, and got the AMDC back, this baby can only hide the Burmilla Blue

This is awesome, Peaches!
Chart 1 proves that Emmalynn hides Burmilla Blue.
Chart 2 proves that Burmilla Blue is recessive to Australian Mist Dark Chocolate

Congrats Peaches. This makes mine and Revens British and Scottish tests obsolete now, I'll still pull the hids though Smile

RE: Burmilla Blue Shaded
Kayla asked me for proof Walda was pure and when I saw how many charts it was going to be I decided to just pull it from Seanan since hes very keen to pass his hidden and he co operated first time, wish the rest of my tests would.
Anyway heres proof that Seanan hides Walda's Blue Marble thus confirming Burmilla Blue Shaded is dominant to Australian Mist Blue Marble.
Something we all knew anyway but a 1 chart proof ties it up nicely Smile
For new breeders heres why it proves it

Seanan is a Burmilla Blue Shaded
Jenneva is a Burmilla Red Silver Shaded
Their Baby is an Australian Mist Blue Marble
Burmilla Red Silver Shaded is already known to be recessive to Australian Mist Blue Marble so therefore the baby shows Dads hidden fur inherited from Grandma Walda.

RE: Burmilla Blue Shaded
this isn't exactly a proof but - my Burmillas came from Blue Marble. I got this recently

which might indicate Burmilla recessive to Bengal Black

At least one of the grandparents (perhaps both?) hides Blue Marble, so there is a fair chance that Gorman hides it too. We need to pull the kitten's hidden to be certain.
Placing Burmilla Blue either dom or rec to Bengal Black will cut the testing range in half any way, so go for it!
