Mackerel Tabby vs Blotched Tabby
As most cat owners know, there are two versions of Tabby cat in the real world...the original "Blotched Tabby", and the equally common "Mackerel" or Striped Tabby.

We have the blotched tabby already..are there any chances that a new coat pattern, the Mackerel tabby..might be lurking in our KittyCats' future furs? This would allow for Toygers..not quite tiger colored, but also different shades of Mackerel tabbies. I've had several kitties in real life who were darn near pale pink in color..with a very faint striping, that were most beautiful. Also, the Mackerel tabbies have ring-tailed markings on their tails, like raccoons, instead of linear striping.
