Objects Transfer
First of all, this is my first Thread so please be gentle lol

I would like to note that, I understand that due to some kind of security you have, food, vitamins ect cannot be transferred to another Person, although it can be used with other cats, like for example, you can rez a bowl of food and choose to feed "all cats" now, with the Vitamins you cannot give it to other cats, which is very frustrating, because the cats I am talking about are collections cats which were a present and they came with the following obejcts: 1 week food supply, 5Love Vitamins, Portable food snack, and a Love drop, all being NON Transfer.

It would be nice if KittyCatS! creators would make these either available to transfer or let the vitamins love ect work with other cats, like you can do with food..
If that would be an issue then maybe the owner of the cat can say Yes or I agree or something like that or similar as I understand not everyone would like to have their cats fed with some vitamins they do not need.
I would really like to see some changes

As you also know, that you cannot buy as Gift in KittCatS! Store! Which is another annoying thing.

I did speak to one of the CSR about it, they told me you can buy a Gift Card, but that is not really a gift is it? It is supposed to be a surprise gift, cause a gift card is nothing else but money stuck into a card that can only be used in certain store.

If you could look into that and maybe make some changes, I would really appriciate it.

Yes it is rather annoying when objects that come with a gift from KittyCats can not be transfered.

Cats can be transfered, so why not food, vitamins ect????

Supplies are no-transfer to prevent the rampant fraud seen in other breedables back when KittyCatS was being designed.

I like the idea of having the other owner be there and press 'Accept', like when you partner cats with two different owners, both needs to be on and accept the partnership. It would be a cool feature for the vitamins too I think.

How does that work?

The only reason I figured food wasn't transferable was so that you had
to walk to the other side of the main store, right past those
new bird edition cats.

Kinda like walking through the chip aisle to get to the milk out back
in a supermarket.

Yah, I wasn't here for Fritos corn chips, but since Im here gimme five bags!

If consumables are not transferable, it's to protect us, the customers / breeders.

If food and vitamins were transferable, then there would a kind of "secondary market" for them
were some malicious people could sell malfunctioning &/or copybotted items.

KittyCatS would not be able to help us and redeliver said object because it wouldn't have been sold by them.

On a side note, Winter : you can make a direct landmark to the food location. Wink

Two things I gleaned from this: 1) It can be very hard to untangle oneself from other people's messes. 2) Most commenters want to be the bad guys. At the time there were a great many comments on the original article he refers to that were, shall we say, not favorable to people who have virtual pets.

Since people unrelated to SL were talking about this, I quite understand the choices virtual pet and breedable companies might make to avoid getting tangled in such a mess.
