RE: new to breeding need help with traits
Hello Aika,

Theoratically cats can have 9 traits.
A non genesis fur is a trait as well as non genesis eye.
Also the shape of the eye if it is not curious but mysterious is a trait and a small pupil is a trait.
Non genesis ears are a trait and a non genesis tail.
As for the shade everything but normal is a trait.
Obviously traits or the amount of traits is not the only thing appealing to a potential customer but just as well a nice combination of traits & fur.
To learn more about traits and their dominance order and how the genetics of KittyCatS work I would like to suggest to have a look at the Google Docs Saga Felix made with the help of the KittyCatS community.
It is a great resource:-)
KittyCatS Genes Documentation >

Enjoy:-)

Hello Aika,

Fur: Genesis - xxx
Eyes: Genesis xxx (Shape: Curious | Pupil: Big)
Shade: Natural
Tail: Genesis
Ears: Genesis
Whiskers: Silver (Shape: Guitar)

All that is not like above is a trait.

Yeh if you count the size: teacup/toy...
Although these do not pass and cant be breed into a line. It is a random chance when the kitten is born.

I call toys & teacups a bonus trait because they can't be bred for but still hold some value!

If you have two different owners of the kittens, do you still need to pair them or can they still mate on their own?

RE: new to breeding need help with traits
Hi Poe,

they need to be paired and both owners present on the SIM when you partner them,
to agree on the partnership.
