So No New Royal Baby Special Kittens?

Darn, even after it was revealed that the clues given on the Addicts group, including a teddy bear and baby bottle (filled with vodka!), were for the upgrade, I was still hoping.

It just doesn't seem fair to me that only the male heir had KittyCats designed in his honour... plus I wasn't around then for all the royal baby fun last time.

And - on a more serious note - with sales dropping early for the summer, wouldn't another special baby be just thing to liven things back up?

I'm sure the HQ was up to their eyeballs in the Update 1.44. At any rate, those special babies seem to pop up during the summer lull. That is to say that it's not so much that the new British princess is being slighted by KittyCatS as that the first prince was born at a convenient time and provided an inspiration, i.e., having the royal babies was the summer thing that year. Last year it was the World Cup. So the question is, what is the inspiration going to be This summer? I don't know. There are an awful lot of volcanos blowing up right now. Maybe we will keep having eruptions and get Volcano babies? I know, I know.

What ever the summer special baby is this year (if there is one), HQ probably already knows what it is.

Hmmm, I suppose Firestorm kitties are very Volcano-ish in a styilized manner.
But it is hard (at least for me) to think of some fun thing that's happening in the news this summer.
Eh, maybe they could just go for a Midsummer Night's Dream and celebrate summer in a more general way like they often celebrate fall, winter, and spring.

No need to be self-conscious. And, yes, the Firestorm kitties are... better than lava flowing out of the top of their heads, at least for me.

Personally, I still think they missed it by not doing another royal baby.

Midsummer... oooh.... Fairies and Flowers would be purrfect! :-)

Well KittyCatS is in international group. Surely there's a royal baby being born in Some country this summer.
Oh! Do you remember the Madame Alexander dolls (and their knock-offs)? They used to do dolls from each country. We could have Royal Babies from different nations.

I love the World Cup tee shirts by the way. They help make my twins look more like twins.
