RE: Tiara & Crown Cats - "oopsie kitten"
Keeping it and selling it for a 60,000L STARTING bid is two totally different things. Also advertising it as a "One of a Kind" when she has more than one herself is another things as well.

Mistakes and bugs totally happen and in my opinion KittyCatS took care of this in the best way possible for everyone.

Yes, sounds like she left KC clearly no other choice.
I like those crowns and Tiara's I really do but 60K for an odd kitty hmm,... I wouldn't pay that and I wonder if anyone does.
In a way, sadly, the things you say here do not really surprise me.
Wasn't sure how to react why it took me some longer, because of that.

Pffft, Ive seen black softies selling for $15000.

Whats that? Like 75 bucks!

And they aint even one of a kind items.

In a free market, you can ask for anything,

and mark your starting bid for crazy amounts.

And if you can get me to spend 60k for a KittyCats,

GOD BLESS YA!

Take the money and buy yourself 42 cases of MUG ROOT BEER!

YOU'VE EARNED IT!

I agree with you on that one I have seen higher prices.
To me the argument they were not "one of a kind" but claimed to be made me reconsider.
I can understand KC doesn't want to be part of such practice in this specific case.
On he other hand this can be done with every kitty.
It just takes one to believe that.

This is an articulate explanation, making a clear distinction between an 'exploit' and the 'random snafu' (LOVE that terminology!).

I always applaud thoughtful, diplomatic, and well-written pieces. Kudos to you for this one!

Thanks for posting the pic of this pretty kitty! I have always loved the Ody Burst eyes, but had never considered them for a Salty cat. After seeing this picture, I think they may be the perfect eye color for a crown-wearing Salty! All that gold complementing each other on that pretty grey fur!
