Updating Permapets

I currently am not breeding due to SL and RL time commitments but I have quite a few permapets. I think currently I have 4 on one sim, 1 on another and 3 more on another. (Those of you who know me know math is not my strong suit so these numbers could be off.)

But lets say they are correct this is 7 permapets on 3 separate sims. Currently I would have to send each of them to the cattery, rez a dock, bring them back, reset their home positions and the range they are allowed to roam. This is quite a bit of hassle compared to just using the update can.

I would like to propose that permapets that are currently rezzed in world at the time of update also get the option to have the update can sent to them by the menu.

I also have friends who only have a single permapet and don't even understand the cattery and such that might also like the option to update their cats in the ease that the update can offers.

This is correct. We will place an updater out in the store soon that you can use if you aren't able to get one from your cats otherwise. When it's out in the store we'll announce it via the group.

I went to the store next to the dock in the front room, and got the updater called KittyCats! Vendor Updater 1.42, it is a blue can with version 1.44 on the label, don't be confused by the name. The contents are indeed 1.44. I updated a mega permapet tiger, who promptly produced a nice pillow while he was asleep, and updated a teacup permapet tiger and tested the menu Pet-Play while awake and asleep. When I played with the sleeping permapet using the Pet-Play menu, kitty didn't wake up but instead produced the most adorable little dream bubble about a toy (I will post pic on Flickr). This is not very extensive testing but all looks good for permapets so far.... Thank you KittyCats!
