Pi Kitty Wanted, Please!
Saturday, 14 March, is "Pi Day" since 3.14 are the first three digits of pi. This year, we have a once a century event because the *next* two digits are '15' ... so this year, Pi Day is on 3.14.15.

Some of us on the KittyCatS Addicts Chat thought it would be a Very Good Thing to have a special "Pi Kitty" so I'm making an official request.

Could we *please* have a Pi Kitty? Pretty please?

RE: Pi Kitty Wanted, Please!
*imagines what a Pi Kitty would look like, and sees it with a pie around it's face (instead of a slice of in-bread) and an endless trail of numbers all over it's body*

Bah! Why? A more important special would have been Euler's Kitty, on February 7th.

RE: Pi Kitty Wanted, Please!
I originally proposed this idea in group chat. Where do we go from here, how do we get this done? I know time is very short!

I'd suggest starting with a realistic expectation. One day isn't happening. If you want it this year, I'd suggest firing up the 12 Monkeys machine and making your request a few months ago.

Yep, I was afraid two days was too little when I thought of it while chatting. Oh well.

RE: Pi Kitty Wanted, Please!
Lessee .. the LHC costs about USD 1 billion, per year.

And the Core for the 12 Monkey machine must work at energies several orders of magnitude higher.

Let's call it 100x as a wild-ass guess.

And I'd need a bit of mark-up to make it worth my while: say 8% or so.

So, converted to L$, how does L$700000 per second sound?

Of course, since I can't rent the 12 Monkeys machine, so I'll have to do an R&D project build one I could rent you. How about you start a Kickstarter campaign and see if you can come up funding for a few billion seconds of operation?
