Cognac recessiveness?
On Cognac eyes, Saga's chart says

Cognac is between Starry Baby Blues and Double Dip Flora (and recessive to Full Moon)- more info on either, please.

So if anyone has charts on Cognac and recessive or dominance to the following eyes, please post

Double Dip Flora
Odyssey Dream (Ret 4/12)
Gerbera Orange (Ret)
Gerbera Blue (Ret)
Gerbera Pink (Ret)
Gerbera Purple (Ret)
Morning Dew (Ret)
Canary
Mercury (Ret)
Starry Baby Blues (Ret)

It is fairly narrowed down already but needs a little tweaking.

Hi Keitha,
Thanks for looking. Also when you post the pedigree, this is the Cognac thread. Could you post the Odyssey Cognac Wine pedigree on the Odyssey Cognac Wine thread? (gets confusing because 3 Halloween eyes had Cognac in the name: Cognac, Odyssey Cognac Moon and Odyssey Cognac Wine).

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
On Cognac eyes, Saga's chart now says Cognac is between Double Dip Flora and Bronze. Bronze is dominant to Canary so that puts Cognac between Double Dip Flora and Canary.

Double Dip Flora
Odyssey Dream (Retired) *
Gerbera Orange (Ltd.Ed.)
Gerbera Blue (Ltd.Ed.)
Gerbera Pink (Ltd.Ed.)
Gerbera Purple (Ltd.Ed.)
Morning Dew (Retired)
Canary *

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
On Saga's chart
Cognac is dominant to Bronze and recessive to Double Dip Flora & Full Moon

also according to Saga's chart
Bronze is dominant to Canary and recessive to Gerbera Purple and Tapestry Allure

Full Moon has jst been placed between Gerbera Purple and Morning Dew
https://kittycats.ws/forum/showthread.php?tid=20491&page=2

Therefore
So the chart will be adjusted to
Gerbera Purple
Full Moon
Morning Dew
Canary

Cognac is between Full Moon and Canary
Just needs to be proven against Morning Dew to be placed

Cognac
Saga's charts says: dominant to Bronze and recessive to Full Moon

With Bronze and Full Moon placed now, Cognac will fall somewhere in here. Super close to being placed.

Full Moon (Ltd.Ed)
Odyssey Cognac Moon (Ltd.Ed)
Morning Dew (Retired) Pewter
Bronze

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
Thank you Samantha!

I'm posting the pedigree inline for easier viewing:

Mum shows Cognac, while dad shows Grotto.
The kitten shows Pewter, which is known to be dominant to Grotto.

Pewter must therefore be Mum's hidden eye, and recessive to Cognac.

We're almost there now. Only Odyssey Cognac Moon left to test before Cognac is placed!

Forum based dominance charts

Tad nailed it!

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
Yay. Great to know.
That means we're running 3 eyes versus Ody Cognac Moon: crystal crush, ody crush, and also now cognac.
