RE: Sweetening up The Menagerie
Took me very long to save for megapuss tiger, about 1,5 year, and once I got it, my mission was complete, now all I can get is same tiger with slight variations. Something new would revive interest in menagerie kitties especially for long time breeders, and hopefully, it will help to get rid of many many boxes that tend to be piling up or being sold by redicilous low prices all over the markets. In other words, I vote for newness!

How many cats do you have to menagerie to get a special kitty?

200 boxes or kitties for the normal sized Tigers or 250 for the special sizes.

While a new fur or breed might be nice, something new might also be more passable traits from the shown traits. For example, I've seen Jade eyes around but I don't think I've seen Purple Platform eyes (the purple eyes of my disco tiger).

Yes Please -- more new traits or more passable traits from the shown.

I quit sending cats to the Menagerie a pretty long time ago. I have cats with Jade eyes, Blush Quartz, Tiger Curl tails, Wild Tiger ears. So ... I am holding out for something different.

So far the 50K / 20L credit is not, for me, worth losing the pedigree info or making genealogies harder to trace. If a cat is in the menagerie, you have to go through byzantine avenues to find its pedigree. You have to maybe locate one of its children or grandchildren and work your way back. If it's in Inventory you can pull it out and look up -- to see what its children were.

As for boxes ... well, I don't see the advantage of menagerizing them really. I would if i thought there was maybe a chance of getting "Lapis and Olivine", for example, as an eye color in the offspring!
