Happiness and Petting by Non-Owners

There needs to be added the ability for other people to raise a cat's happiness by petting. Believe it or not, most (tame) cats enjoy being petted by more than just their owner.

Most everything is there already; there's the option in the pie-menu for non-owners to pet, including the animations.

If enough people think this to be a good idea, AND add to this post saying so... who knows, maybe this option will be added?

Wow. I'm actually surprised. As of 11:30 am, 3/4/14, there has been 16 views, but only one person (other than me ) thinks it's a good idea.

So, why is it not a good idea?

Who says it's not? Views/posts don't tell you that. Some people, like me, may view it two or three times before forming a cogent reply.

As to the idea, actually, I'm really ambivalent about it. While I actually like the idea, I point the wide-spread outbreak of Carpal-tunnel Syndrome caused by Meeroos (not to mention their auto-pet machines fiasco).

I think this is an amazing idea as I have quite a few cats and several jobs in SL. makes it difficult for me to have to cuddle 14 cats and dont know if I can afford milks for them all the time. Being able to set them so others can pet them and have their happiness raised would be really cool. <3

Count me in as a supporter of this idea. RL cats get care from more than one person in the average human family of four. So why only one person in SL.

Well … the main argument against this could be that as cuddling replaces the cost of milk then KCs want us to at least to have some effort and not bring in friends to do the work for us, for example when we are offline.

But then again, the hardened no milk breeders have their methods and planning, attach multiple kitties and bring in an alt maybe and hand some over just for the 1/2 hour cuddle.

So i doubt it would change much for the team if this was enabled and would be kinda nice yes.
