I absolutely recommend the mentor program! Such an awesome thing to have someone you can yack at about all your kitties and get advice from. As Bea mentioned, the classes are super helpful as well! Even just going to auctions and watching and looking at the pedigrees while the auctioneer dissects them is very helpful.

RE: Fun with Breeding "Advice", "Tips", Tricks and Superstitions :)
Hey guys thank you all for being so welcoming!
I now actually have 12 kittyCats and counting (4 girls, 8 boys) I love them all so much especially when they emote that they love me ^_^.
My friends have started calling me the cat lady as I often have them all sitting on my shoulders normally at the same time.......
I have been attempting to count traits and have note carded all details etc so i can keep track on them all.
so erm....... yeah thanks again for being welcoming, I will definitely check out them classes ^_^

Cheeky.

Okay, please don't attack me for spreading false rumours, I know this is no double blind research, but this is a weird pedigree right? Dodgy

RE: Fun with Breeding "Advice", "Tips", Tricks and Superstitions :)
I rarely get teas or toys, but I've put a certain pair together a few times and they gave me a toy and a teacup. And I was absolutely thrilled cause they are my faves. But it hit me as odd too. Sometimes it seems like I'll have a kitty that is more apt to pass a tiny than my others.
You can see by the traits they're the same parents, I just changed their names because i used them in the decorating contest.
Someday I'll have enough room in my cattery to open them and wear one on each shoulder for ever and ever. Angel

LOL yea, I personally prefer Normal size, toy is cute too but teacup is too small to me and I like to see the kitty details without zooming much Big Grin, but I admit I like when I get a tiny one because it is nice to get something different from time to time.

I also believe some kitties give tinies more than others, my Baroque baby gave 3 teacups and 11 Normal sized! But he insists to give the teacup with the genesis fur Dodgy, he hides Foxie Auburn but never gave it with a Foxie Sad.

Might be interesting to know that one of his Normal sized daughters that has the name "Foxy behind the Mask" in the picture below gave one of the teacups and her Mom gave another, the third I sold but I will try to find out her Mom.

Edit: Found the 3rd teacup Mom, she gave only one teacup in her breeding life.

Cute kitties! And yeah I've noticed a lot of times they pass the fur and not the traits. Kitties can be soooo evil! lol
