Asking, pleading for kittys to gain love from day one.
Pleaseeee KC let kitty's start gaining love soon as there lil boxers open, 17 days till a kitty can breed is too long and boring, even with milk and vit's its 13 days.

Sooo why not make it, a cat will be 100 love at 10 days and can not be boosted until after this time, and drop the limit from 120 too 110 ?

If this is so much of a game brake idea please KC explain why ?

Because some of us like to play with kitties while they're kittens without them worrying about gaining love and we're used to them retiring at 120? *hands Pen "1001 ways to meditate & relax while your kitty becomes an adult cat"*

I'd wager the reason they don't change it when people ask, is because they need to have a buffer between when your new generations can breed, and all it takes is them bending to change one time, and people will just ask for the next thing.

If they make it so cats gain love right away, in a few months people will just start asking for it to take 5 days instead of 10 days, and then 1 day instead of 5 days, and so on. You might say "That's just silly", but history in ANY situation like this, proves, that's what will, in fact, happen.

I agree

I have the feeling if we for example sibling breed with all the genes we want in the background combined we have much faster the result we are looking for if they gain love right away.
I believe it is not as simple as retire the cats earlier and let them gain love instantly there is much more to it.
So I think this is not a good idea.

From my math geeky perspective, it doesn't really matter to the gameplay. It's completely a question of what makes the most players happy, and what the company feels is best for their game. I see no reason to make any changes.

RE: Asking, pleading for kittys to gain love from day one.
I agree with Penfold. Its much easier to pair kittens back to parents if it takes only 7 days (one breeding cycle) to reach breeding age than to wait approx 14 days (2 breeding cycles). Cutting back breeding lifespan to accommodate the extra week would be a good compromise. It will not change how many kittens a cat breeds, just let them breed their first time sooner.

Its funny because this topic has been bought up before and alot of people then agreed it would be a great idea when Saga mentioned this. How people change their minds....just saying Tongue

RE: Asking, pleading for kittys to gain love from day one.
I agree with Penfold as well, what's the point of the extra seven days? If there is a legitimate reason for this time period being necessary then, by all means, keep it. Otherwise, let those babies pop out of the box and start gaining love. If you like to play with your kittens for two weeks without them breeding, then simply turn their breed off, or don't partner them. Their love levels have no impact on how they can operate as a pet for you. I'm thinking maybe, however, this is some how tied to the fact that you have to let pet food recovery span be two weeks as well. This could remain the same, imho. But, afterall, these are just our hopes and wishes right? Tongue

I wish I could breed faster of course but not sure that would be good for the market, it is already flooded with boxes and prices are dropping badly, that will add to the problem I'd say.
Maybe if the market was better It would be a good idea.
