RE: HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR KityCatS?
Delly's gang staged a little insurrection and decided they didn't want to spend any more winters in the garden!
So, a search commenced and they decided they wanted a cozy loft above the foggy London skyline. Delly's been busting a hump cleaning the place and scrubbing the grubby windows to make it reasonably fit.

There's sufficient room below to build a new working cattery but I warned them it wasn't going to be some hedonistic feline den down there.

And they all purred 'Yayyyyyy!'

Yah, we'll see. I expect they'll be bored with the fireplace come February and caterwauling to get outside again!

Cats!

Here is my cattery. I have worked very hard to get it to look this cozy. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. See how happy the cats look?

very luxurious Delly and yeah Rocky, very open floor plan you have there, it is almost like there are no walls at all. Brilliant!

RE: HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR KityCatS?
This, as probably every single in world cattery out there, is a work in progress. I often change the building, the distribution and when amazing things like the Halloween Collection cats happen, the numbers quickly and steadily rise and kitties share balls of yarn to play and even lick each other's paws.

This is how it looks like today... Many thanks (over and over again) to Tad Carlucci for making those fantastic 1/2 prim kitty Shadowbox to display kitties in 2D/Image mode! Idea

My inworld cats pretty rule over my land which are 10-ish breeding and other permapets. *giggles* But they still allow me to have my stuff out. X3 They really like to visit my greenhouse and chase after the butterflies and sniff on the plants.

I have the other cats in the online cattery.

Giuliana, looks like you have a very nice and organized set up there!

Akitsu, your home looks so beautiful and whimsical! And I'm sure the kitties do look awesome hopping around through all the grasses and into the greenhouse to try to find some butterflies to play with Tongue

RE: HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR KityCatS?
Right now I have a small yard in front of one of my bay windows .. there's a real pretty gnarled up tree in front there and the food is setup there ... the kitties home is set there too. I gave them a 5 meter radius to play in. Today I found Meko passed out in the leaves - looked so real! Sometimes they sit in front of the window and look in, or they look up like they're watching the snowflakes.
They're just not drinking the milk and I don't know why.

RE: HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR KityCatS?
My kitties are all over the place lol - organisation?? No way! I have about 9k sq metres and they run all over it - and some "do time" in the cattery. I have all the land as a somewhat irregular shaped skybox and it took me ages to get them to all stay in there...most disconcerting to find them air walking (or snorkelling when I used to have them by the ocean) - Versatile, these cats!
I use the Kittycats hud to keep them organised.. sorta... ish ... at least I can tp them to me when I need them - would love a RL one of those, although shaking the kitty treat packet is almost as good .. just shake and wait!
Totally agree with previous poster about the house being run for the cats lol - same as me SL and RL Smile
In NEITHER could I exist without my kitties. I've had different layouts over time, made breeding "pits" shelves, wall arrangements etc but to be honest I like free-range the best Smile I do have a play ground set up for them - all sorts of decorations and such that I've found over time and put to use as cat toys - not to mention the aquariums - kitty XBox! In Floor aquarium - Twister, of course! Naturally there are singing birds and butterflies to chase, streamers and wriggly things - would love to have more interactive kitty stuff Smile They have 7 scratching posts and there are always queues.
