New Tail - Pixie Purrfect

This confused the hell out of me. I've just spent over 10 minutes looking at the ears and thinking it was a glitch as they aren't pixie anything...

It seems it was the tail I should have been looking at. (There is a new ear called Pixie Purrfection).

No, the Santa Momma was unpacked from vendor packaging after the release of the 2025 Winter Collection. That means it picked up the traits available after the 2025 release, not the traits current when the Santa Momma was first released.

Yes—notably, it's as soon as the kittycats box rezzes, the one you click to see the cat's info/set name/unpack it/etc. If that box is kept in the cosmetic packaging and not rezzed in-world, it will pick up its traits from the current set as of when it's first rezzed.

profile 1.

Maidie is the Daughter of Apollonia who has been found to hide Pixie Purrfect, because Maidie shows Pixie Purrfect and Renfield's parents are too old to have Pixie Purrfect.

Profile 2.

This profile shows another female child of Apollonia called Hollie. This daughter has Sashay showing. Because we know Apollonia hides Pixie Purrfect, this means the Sashay on Hollie came from her dad, and is therefore dominant to Pixie Purrfect.

Profile 3.

Maidie has to hide Renfield's own hider. His father Ansel shows Sassy Swank and hides Flair.

The conclusion being that Maidie hides Sassy Swank or Flair Tail, and thus Pixie Purrfect is dominant at least to Flair.

So far that proves Pixie Purrfect dominant to Flair and recessive to Sashay and possibly dominant to Sassy Swank. I will be testing Maidie to see whether she hides Flair or Sassy Swank.
