With that sitting right above the Burmilla Black its ceratinly an indication its going to be recessive, my first one breeds tomorrow so fingers crossed for a result Smile
Am running a Pinkie Winkie hider against a Dusty Slate hider as well this week in the hope both throw their hids, both shown furs are well above both test ranges so that would be an instant answer between the two and might narrow one or the other quite a bit when we get results from other ongoing tests.

I'm aware this wasn't the most efficient choice; however the chocolate happened to have most of the traits I'm trying to get on my pinkie line, and it's hiding a known recessive... so, I had to unpack them regardless.

My baby decided to hang on to her hid this week so you might get an answer before I do anyway Smile

RE: New Fur: Tiger!-Pinkie Winkie
Recessive to Burmilla - Black Silver Shaded

Clear proof showing the Pinkie Winkie pulled from under the Burmilla - Black Silver Shaded by the more recessive Toyger - Caramel

Something unexpected from a pair of Pinkies!
The Pinkie Winkie is dominant to the Golden Ticket...

RE: New Fur: Tiger!-Pinkie Winkie
Recessive to Abyssinian - Dark Chocolate

And proof Ayiana hides Pinkie Winkie

Since Burmilla - Blue Shaded is dominant to Abyssinian - Dark Chocolate Ayiana must have passed her hidden Tiger! - Pinkie Winkie making it recessive to Abyssinian - Dark Chocolate

RE: New Fur: Tiger!-Pinkie Winkie
Bred a possible Pinkie Winkie Hider with an Australian Mist - Blue Marble and got back Australian Mist - Blue Marble.
Since Burleigh has passed his hid theres no point in repeating the test so the baby is unpacking to pull the hid and in the meantime I'll pair Burleigh with a known recessive to check his hid. Just in case I'll pop Constance with a Pinkie Winkie next week and see what I get. She's a pure Aussie Blue Marble so if I get a Pinkie Winkie I can stop wondering about these hids Smile Got a live Toyger - Silver so if Burleigh does hide Pinkie Winkie I'll pop him with her.

RE: New Fur: Tiger!-Pinkie Winkie
So Burleigh hides Toyger - Snow not Pinkie Winkie so the Aussie baby hides that too. Back to the drawing board. I did breed Constance to a Pinkie Winkie shower this week and got the Blue Marble back, but he hides Blue Mink so I'll need to check the baby.
