RE: Cognac recessiveness?
Thank you, Samantha! Great chart!

Yep, Ivy, that's correct. But when one eye of those eyes get placed, the other two will have to be tested against hat one as well as OCM

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
How the Odyssey Crush placement effects

Cognac
Saga's charts says:
Under Cognac: dominant to Bronze and recessive to Full Moon
Under Odyssey Crush: dominant to Pewter & Cognac, and recessive to Double Dip Flora
Under Full Moon: Full Moon is dominant to Morning Dew, Pewter, Crystal Berry, Crystal Crush & Cognac
Thread: 8/23 Cognac is dominant to Pewter

9/3 Odyssey Crush is placed between Full Moon & Odyssey Cognac Moon

Cognac is now recessive to Odyssey Crush and dominant to Pewter
Odyssey Cognac Moon for placement

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
Looks like Cognac is recessive to Crystal Crush.

Mom: Shows Crystal Crush, Hides Cognac Exotic Breeze or Better.
Dad: Shows Sparkle Dream, Hides Ody Bellini or better.
Offspring: Shows Cognac eyes.

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
That's good to know since both eyes are fairly close. Here is the info so far:

Cognac
Saga's charts says: Cognac is dominant to Bronze and recessive to Full Moon
Saga's charts says: Odyssey Crush is dominant to Pewter & Cognac
Thread: 8/23 Cognac is dominant to Pewter; 9/3 Odyssy Crush is placed between Full Moon and Odyssey Cognac Moon so Cognac is between Odyssey Crush and Pewter
Needs to be tested against Odyssey Cognac Moon, Twilight

Crystal Crush
Saga's charts says: (recent update Oct or Nov) dominant to Odyssey Cognac Moon and recessive to Full Moon
Thread: 9/3 Odyssey Crush placed between Full Moon and Odyssey Cognac Moon; 9/5 dominant to Odyssey Cognac Moon
Needs to be tested against Odyssey Crush for placement

I'll add a line to both of them that Cognac is recessive to Crystal Crush. on the thread page. Send the chart to Sagakitty if you would.

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
Thats good to know because should Crystal Crush prove recessive to Odyssey Crush and Cognac dominant to Odyssey Cognac moon we would have needed to test against each other. This rules out that need later Smile

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
Just saw this in Saga Charts
Oct 22: Twilight PLACED recessive to Odyssey Cognac Moon
This means cognac now requires testing against Twilight as well as Odyssey Cognac Moon as Twilight is dominant to Pewter.

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
Cognac Dom to Twilight:

Mother shows Cognac and hides Ody Cognac Moon or Twilight
Father shows Twilight hides Lightwash or Better
Offspring shows Twilight
So Proves Mother hides Twilight, thus proving Cognac dom to Twilight because if it was Ody Cognac Moon it is dom to Twilight and would have shown.

We know Grandpa on Moms side hides Twilight because it was the Twilight vs Ody Cognac Moon Proof placement Kitty!

RE: Cognac recessiveness?
Had to read that twice before I could see the hidden twilight had to have passed rather than the shown cognac be hiding under the babys twilight.
As we see from Lapis Pedigree he must hide twilight as Odyssey Skyline is known to be recessive to it.
As you pointed out OCM is known dominant to Twilight so if the Mum hid that it would have shown NOT Twilight, there fore Mum has her Mums Cognac showing and her dads hidden Twilight hiding so Twilight is recessive to Cognac or Cognac is Dominant to Twilight, Whichever way you want to say and should confuse Kayla just enough Tongue

That just leaves Odyssey Cognac Moon to test for placement Smile

Great work.
