i often get to hear in world how you found KittyCatS or how they found you and the stories are often so touching, or funny, or just simple and cute. often the notes and stories you send make my day
if you want to share how you found KittyCatS! we'd love to hear it and i'm guessing that the rest of the community would too.
so, how did you find KittyCatS or how did they find you?
please, do tell
When I first saw one... I wanted a kitty like my own here at home, ive finnally got the red tabbys down, and from that first day to now... they've always had a little piece of my heart, i hope these will stay here for forever, thankyu so much
I was stalking someone (not really I wanted to see what she was breeding, so i tped to all the breeder picks in her profile and I found a market full of cats. There was a MegaPuss with rainbow eyes, and I have been addicted since.

Once upon a time a fishing friend i know was commenting in a group about a lost breed able... somehow it got completely lost and would up being found like 2 weeks later STILL ALIVE (but sick, natch). i then wondered what this was... so i went to her fishing area and saw CATS on the roof. i pulled up some info on the cat, and did some research. Shortly there after i was shopping for a couple of miscellaneous cats (1F, 1M) and bought some food. that was over a year ago.
My best friend, who brought me into SL, was into KittyCatS! and she had a few. She ended up needing a new place to live and brought them (about 4) with her. I love cats so I was ok with it. 3 months went by and then her computer went out on her, then the kitties got sick so I let her know. She had me log in as her and buy some food. Not knowing that after 7 days, they'd get better and plus I couldn't stand to see them that way, I sent her the money, logged back in as her and bought the health recovery. I started to want my own and my first was a Flame II, named Rian. Then it just progressed from there!
It was February or March of 2012. I got a copy of the SL Magazine sent to me. Not sure how I signed up for them to deliver it, but it came. I rezzed the mag and was in awe with the picture of a cute kitty on the front...oh and Callie too. (jk). I read the article in the mag an wanted to find out more about this virtual breedable. I had been trying the horses but could not understand the traits or how things were passed and so forth.
I did a search for kittyCatS! and found several private stores. One store had a "Wishing Well" that had random kitties inside for 99L. I figured it was not to much to spend to try it out so I bought my first kitty. She ended up being a Russian Black with Midnight eyes. I named her Moosho and still have her- she is permapeted.
KittyCatS have helped me find something positive to focus on when RL gets hard - hugging the kitties brings me peace. And the challenge of figuring out the possible hidden traits, and breed them out, has been exciting and rewarding.
I got my first kitty a few weeks ago from a friend. He was still unborn and as soon as I opened it i fell in love with him he looked like a tiny mouse . Then i bought another a female and bought one for my husband. They are sooooo cute cant wait to start breeding them in a few days.
I've only been breeding kittycats a very short time and I can only say that this is, by far, the most friendly and helpful group of people I've had the pleasure of coming into contact with.
I've been a breeder of other breedables--too many to try and list--and I have to say that what drew me to kittycats were three things. A) The genetic aspect is superior to most any other I've ever worked with and therefore more challenging and entertaining. And B) The kittycats themselves are so cute and realistic, who could resist! and finally C) I absolutely loved the idea of having the choices of full prim, or boxed kitties AND the novel and oh-so-original idea of being able to have your kitties kept online. Kudos to the genius behind that one!
My first kittycat was the SL9B kitty that I grabbed from a hunt and he sat in inventory for some time, until I got real curious and just couldn't wait any longer and unpacked him. I took one look at him and watched his antics and that was it for me, I was hooked!
Omg, its so strange that Fate found me in KittycatS!! during the Christmas holiday past, I had gotten a notice to get a free kitty from the mainstore(the Snoball), and from that point on, I am in Love with the whole system and the great customer service. like most, I was looking for gifts and stuff, and KittycatS was top of my list..Now I am a bonified "CAT MAN" LOL!!
