I am sorry... I have to agree... If I am having to go to a 'special' website or what ever it is outside of sl and outside of marketplace.. I really wish I had looked into this further before purchase as now I regret buying my kitty. I do not want to see her go hungry but if I can not buy food with L$ then I can not buy her food.

The excuses of cost and in world complications of TPs and crashes is weak at best as I have both a Marketplace and an in world shop and I receive none of the problems you indicate. The cost of MP is minimal and not complicated at all.
I am so sad at this news... and if my kitty dies I will be even more sad.
Something about this feels very wrong though.

Luckely kitties won't die at most they get sick if they have no access to food within 3 days but even then they will recover in 7 days after they have access to food again or instantly via the "Get Well" Vita.

we do have an inworld store and you CAN buy food with L$. Not sure where it was stated that you can't do that.

so please know, you can get food at our inworld store with Linden Dollars.

So your kitty will be fine

I think there is a misunderstanding.
You most definately can obtain beyond others food in world with Linden Dollars.

For a first time KittyCat buyer I think it's an oversight that the Main Store LM is nowhere to be found on this website, or in anything found by clicking the cat. If you buy a Live cat or a box on the secondary market, there is no information on where to buy food or where the Main store is located.

I did find it by using SL Search, where you also have a paid advertisement. But SL Search doesn't work for some viewers it seems.

The first answer I give to any first time buyer that buys a cat from me, is the LM to the Main Store and the Kibble section - even before they ask.

Sometimes the most obvious information is overlooked when designing a website.

As with all objects in SL, boxes and kitties have a creator, the name and profile of whom can be found by left clicking said object, choosing edit and opening the creator's profile, where normally information on the product can be found and 99% of the time there will be info and an LM to their store in their profile picks, as is the case with KittyCatS.

This has been a reflex since my first month in SL so i automatically assumed it was for everyone else, i mean if not idk how the heck y'all manage to get around.

I do have an amazing idea though : what if every time we touch a kitty or a box then Kitten Longmeadow or one of her trusty CSRs automagically appear and grants us three questions, this would be awesome and extremely innovative indeed, well, maybe a bit complicated in the execution, tiresome even, in fact maybe not such a good idea at all; oh well ok, back to the ol' drawing board ---------->
