RE: Would a breeding chart website be well received do you think?
I just saw this thread, and the question if you could link to my docs. Answer is: Of course you can Smile

As it says on the docs, anyone can LINK to them all they like, as long as no one subtracts the info to display it elsewhere, in which case it'd sooner or later get outdated, as the charts are still updated regularly. No longer by myself, but by the formidable Liriel Garnet :-)

So, link away - and best of luck with your project. It sounds interesting!

She meant "extract" not "subtract", as should be apparent from the context.

Outdated, here, means "incomplete". New traits are added and eventually placed in the main sequence.

The fact that Snowshoe Lilac is dominant to Russian Black will never become outdated; but the number of furs between them can change as new furs are added. Similarly, Chateau Grey and White No. 1 is dominant to Russian Black (that fact can never become outdated).

But we don't know whether Snowshoe Lilac is dominant or recessive to Chateau Grey and White No 1. If we ever do, that section of the charts WILL become outdated.

If you need help on this, I'll be happy to help as well. I am a programmer in real life specifically dealing with data warehouse, data management, and database. I do reports from databases and had built websites that connect to database. Just let me know if you need assistance. Smile

Hey all. Yes. I PMed Saga but I knew what was meant. I have absolutely no desire to even try to replicate Tad or Saga's tools.

More PMs going out slowly. I'm on my phone and am lousy at typing on it! I appreciate the help offers. Extra input is always awesome!!!
